Villa Meliti is ideally located in Kalamaki, approximately 5 kilometers (3 miles) west of Chania, minutes away from the heart of town or the sandy beaches of the West coast of Crete. The Villa is part of a 4000 m2 private green plot full of trees, including olive trees, orange trees, and lemon trees, which you are free and invited to explore anytime. Depending on the time of the year, you might even get to taste some seasonal fruits.
The living room is located on the ground floor and has a 42'' LCD satellite TV, home cinema, Netflix subscription, and Roku streaming player.

Summary: We had a lovely stay at Villa Meliti.The house was great (just like the pictures); it really felt like a home away from home.Floorplan was well thought out with exits to the patio and pool area from the kitchen and living room, all bedrooms had exits to garden or balcony and we all appreciated the en suite bathrooms.We spent a lot of time at the patio/pool area, which was just as thought out and carefully taken care of as the house.Our hostess was amazing; warm, caring, responsive and service minded.I definitely recommend Villa Meliti and would love to stay there again some day.

Summary: Villa Meliti was the perfect home away from home for our two families. The hosts Andrie and George were incredibly kind and thoughtful and had provided Easter Eggs for the children and a range of local delicacies. They were always available and gave us great tips to make the most of our stay.It was such a treat that each bedroom had its own en suite bathroom.The villa is spotless with every modern convenience you could want and is in a fabulous location, walking distance to shops and the beach.Highly recommend Villa Meliti!

Summary: This was a lovely property which was located ideally for us as a larger group with a car. It was clean and comfortable and if there was anything we felt was missing, Andrie, the host, immediately went out of her way to provide it. On one of the days my husband became unwell with a stomach bug and Andrie was amazing in terms of going to the pharmacy for us to obtain medications and electrolytes. She was incredibly generous and gracious. She also booked restaurants for us when we needed, and helped me book a taxi one day when my husband wasn’t able to drive due to his illness. She never made me feel as though I was asking for too much. We mainly dined in downtown Chania (about a twenty min drive away), but the local restaurants we did try (walking distance from the villa) were excellent. Grocery store five min drive away and smaller local stores within walking distance. We did feel a bit inconvenienced by the fact that the wifi didn’t work upstairs, and if that had been articulated in the property description, it would have been helpful to know in advance. The pool isn’t heated but our kids happily jumped in nonetheless even though it was a tad chilly in October. Overall we had a lovely stay and I can’t say enough good things about Andrie’s hospitality.

Summary: Villa Meliti is phenomenal! It is a beautiful property with a pool, sea views, and is easily walkable to restaurants, shops, and the lively Kalamaki beach! We were welcomed by the property owners upon arrival with fruit, wine, and the regional specialty drink Raki. The hosts/owners were very responsive and helpful starting prior to and extending through our stay. Whether it was arranging for transfer and taxi services, or offering recommendations for destinations and dining options, they were available and rapidly responsive. It would not be possible to recommend this home, and its owners, any more than I am! They are both amazing! If you plan to visit Crete you have to consider Villa Meliti!

Summary: We had the pleasure of staying 10 nights in this great location in August/ September 2023. From the initial booking confirmation to our final minutes in the villa our hosts were fantastic. Arranging airport collection, basic foods, fruit and wine on arrival, booking restaurants, taxi's, supermarket runs - simply 1st class. Thank you!! The villa also met our every need. Clean, great pool, bbq, outside dining, super layout, table tennis and a putting green to keep us occupied. Location was also excellent for 500m stroll to the beach, supermarkets and some lovely restaurants by the sea. 15 minutes from Chania by taxi - PERFECT in so many ways. Summary: We had a great week in this villa which had lots of room and everything we could possibly need for a comfortable holiday. The hosts were both very friendly and helpful and we appreciated the shopping left for us after our late evening arrival - especially the huge plate of fruit which we enjoyed very much. The pool was excellent and very clean and good for small children. The location was perfect - just a short walk to shops and restaurants and the sea front. Would definitely recommend!

Summary: We have had the most amazing holiday. All of the previous reviews are true. The hosts are lovely and can’t do enough for you. Andrei arranged our transfers from the airport. When we arrived there was additional shopping as well as the welcome pack which was on the house. We received fresh eggs and home cooked Greek food during our stay! Any queries were answered immediately, e.g bus timetables, recommendations of things to do. We were allowed to stay in the villa until our transfer pick up late in the evening. The list goes on! The villa itself had everything we needed. It is modern, clean and spacious. The pool is amazing and there were lots of games, inflatables (and pump) to use. We were a family of 4 and family of 5, so 9 of us altogether. We didn’t hire a car. There are restaurants in walking distance and we got the bus along to Agia marina beach and also into Chania which is well worth a visit! We went to a water park which had its own bus that picked us up from kalamaki. We would love to return here and would highly recommend to others!!
