Positive: The setting, the hotel itself, my room -- all exceeded expectations. Welcoming, friendly, homey, and plenty to do and see on the grounds. Lots of areas to gather as a group or relax and read alone outside and inside. Outdoor heated pool, stables, golf, walking and hiking options, lawn games etc.
Negative: The multiple places to eat and/or drink had significantly different hours. Because there were lots of options, it is challenging to decide where to eat and when. (this is a "like" and very minor "dislike")
Summary: Relaxing, fun, and unique. Great options for inside and outside activities.

Positive: The hotel tour with Ed was fantastic. A wonderful history lesson full of interesting stories and colorful characters. Make sure you allow enough time, our tour was almost 2 hours and totally worth it! All staff at the hotel were exceptional. Loved chatting with the international students. Service was great, people very friendly and helpful. The shuttle to/ from the ski trails and Fabian's station was so convenient! The drivers were super helpful with information and suggestions. The food was great! The morning Acai bowl was so good! Fabian's station food was great, too! The junior breakfast very high quality and so much food for a great price! But most of all... we loved the views and the amazing hotel. We loved everything about our trip and we will be back!
