Positive: Very quiet area with very friendly hosts. Your accommodation is a guest room connected to the main house. It is very well equipped and very comfortable. There is zero road noise. I appreciated Cornelis providing me a plug convertor for my stay. Shower and internet was great. Excellent security. I will make it my first choice when I come back to Cape Town in 2026!
Negative: Everything here is minor so please don't let them distract you from an excellent stay. The tight check-in window was stressful so I'm uncertain if it was a mistake, a nice to have or I was an inconvenience to the family arriving at 9pm. It is a steep hill to park on and while I personally didn't have any problems with the rental car, the person parked next to me got broken in to. Probably best to just uber everywhere.

Positive: We enjoyed our stay at On Barkley. The room is comfortable and well furnished. The kitchenette is useful for making tea and coffee and warming up store-bought meals. Everything is clean and modern, and the room is stylishly decorated, making it cosy. The location is excellent. It's a quiet street within walking distance or a short drive from the trendy cafes and restaurants in Sea Point. It's also easy to get to beaches like Clifton and Camps Bay.
Negative: The only tricky thing is parking space, but parking is always an issue in Cape Town.

Positive: I really enjoyed my stay here! It's a cozy room with a big bathroom in a recently renovated house. WIFI works well and you have access to a nice little terrace. The area is quiet but you can find everything you need within a short walking distance. Roxanne and Cornelis are very helpul and nice to be around. I would definitely recommend and always come back.

Positive: The room was tidy and very comfortable, it is also possible to use the house pool. Overall, the location is central, making it easy to walk during the day, and also cheap to go by uber during the night. It is close to Mojo Market and Seaside area, full of restaurants, bars and shops.
