Casa de Mer villa is a beach-front townhouse in a gated and child-friendly community located in New Providence, The Bahamas. The community offers tennis courts, children's playground and pools. The luxurious townhouse style villa has 3 beautiful bedrooms with 2.5 bathrooms on 2 floors and will sleep 6. The comfortable villa provides the perfect destination for the vacation of a lifetime!
The home is 2,200 square foot on 2 floors of luxury offering several amenities that will make your stay more comfortable and pleasurable, including free wi-fi internet and a beautiful beach with snorkeling. The gorgeous villa features tile floors downstairs and hand laid wood floors on the upper floor. Casa de Mer is air conditioned throughout with central ducted air conditioning on the ground floor and separately controlled AC systems in each bedroom.
The master bedroom features a king size bed, lovely décor and an en-suite bathroom. Step out to the balcony that looks over a beautiful pristine white sand beach and the famous Bahamian waters. There is a second bedroom on the same level and is furnished with 2 single beds. It shares a bathroom with a shower with bedroom 3. The third bedroom on the upper floor is furnished with a queen-sized beds and has an shared bathroom with a full bath an shower. The downstairs floor has a powder room.
The living room is spacious and features very comfortable sofas, lovely art work, beautiful fabrics and tiled flooring. The entertainment system includes a large flat screen offering a wide range of cable tv channels, as well as internet, music. From this room you have an amazing view of the sea right outside your large glass sliding doors. You'll never tire of the view!.
The swimming pool is spacious and is surrounded by an expansive wooden deck. Comfortable lounges are placed on the deck for relaxing after a swim or for simply soaking in the sun. You have your own terrace on your beach complete with table and chairs. The terrace can be a good place for evening drinks or even for a candle lit intimate dinner.
The kitchen at Casa de Mer is fully-equipped with a refrigerator and all essential appliances, and has a fresh and bright look. There is also a laundry closet with washer and dryer.
There are a number of games and activities in the home as well as some beach toys and pool floats for your use. And the WiFi is very good too.
Guests at Palm Cay can simply take a short stroll to the club house and enjoy meals or a drink. The club house offerr a fun music night of most Fridays and barbecue day on Sunday. The marina in the complex offers several water-based activities, such as charter tours, boat rentals, snorkeling and more. There is a Dockside cafe where you can have Starbucks coffee and breakfast.
Casa de Mer villa is located 30 minute drive from Nassau's international airport and a little over 10 minutes from downtown Nassau and Paradise Island. Arrangements for airport pick up to and from the airport can also be made for guests at the time of the booking. There is an extra fee charged by Palm Cay for access to the Member's Pool, Beach and Members Bar. This entitles you to use the Palm Cay Club member's beach, member's bar and the member's pool. Remember too that there is an additional fee paid to Palm Cay for use of gym, water equipment such as kayaks and paddle boards. and tennis equipment. The access fee is optional, If you decide to opt into the programme your fee must be paid to Palm Cay after your arrival. Summary: What an incredible spot! The location is absolutely stunning. We watched the sunrise most mornings from the top deck sipping coffee and found shade under the palm trees during the day. Being that close the the ocean was so nice! We could watch out 12 year old play in the ocean from the loungers on our deck. The ocean was very calm most days and great for swimming. We snorkelled around the rocks and found a few fish to look at. The home has a great layout with a large kitchen and living space and the 3 bedrooms upstairs were a great size. We appreciated having separate A/C for each bedroom! We had a little trouble with the washing machine but Michael the property manager was very attentive and got a technician out to fix it right away. He was awesome to deal with and is a great guy. We were a little concerned that the location was too far away from downtown but it really wasn’t far at all. We drove to the CrossFit gym most mornings and it only took 20 min. In fact, we really appreciated that we were away from the craziness of the cruise ships on the other side of the island. Another perk was that we were able to book a boat to pick us up right at the Palm Cay marina. Highly recommended heading over to Rose island and snorkelling the reef there. The tennis courts were in good shape and were never busy. 4:30 is a great time to play as the court is shaded by some big trees. We would highly recommend this condo and would stay here again if we are ever back in Nassau.

Summary: Mike is very present and answers fast. There was a problem, the ceiling in the dining room was leaking a lot right on the table. He tried to send people a lot to fix the problem, but it never worked. Still I understand it is not his fault. Also, the dishwasher is not working at all. But, for the rest, it was perfect. House is spacious. Bedrooms are sooo comfortable. The beach is beautiful and perfect for little children. Calm neighbor. Really enjoyed our stay. I recommand but only if the problems were fixed ! Thanks a lot Mike !

Summary: Property was as described and just steps away from our very own private beach, in a gated community which was a quiet and very relaxing get away. We used the information in the guide provided by Michael including using Cheryl for our transportation and all was very helpful! We loved the little cafe at the marina that had a Starbucks and supplies if you ran out of something as the location is a ways away from restaurants and grocery stores (Solomon’s was about a 15-20 minute walk). The marina had bikes and scooters for rent and we were able to line up a day trip with captain Rick to Rose Island through the Palm Cay office (highly recommend him and this trip). Would definitely stay here again

Summary: Amazing place….location was great, few steps away from water, beautiful beach, safe location. We will be back once they build a market inside the community so we don’t have to worry about groceries…Michael was great!!!

Summary: If you are looking for a perfect spot to be right on the ocean and not be disturbed by lots of people, then this is your place. The location is about a 30 minute ride from the airport, but the view, the sand and the water is just perfect. The place is clean, modern, gated and just right for a family or for a few couples. The Master is specious, the 2nd bedroom is a tight fit for a queen bed, but nice and the third bedroom is a good size with two twin beds. If you want to do things, then you will need to take a ride or rent a car. We rented a car and had no issues getting around. There is a marine and a nice restaurant just within walking distance on within the gated community. The price was a good value and we will be coming back to this same location.

Summary: Our family was fortunate to vacation for a week in the Bahamas, Nassau. We stayed in Palm Cay on Starfish Isle. The home was beautiful and our host Mike was amazing! Prior to us leaving for vacation, Mike provided a very detailed and helpful document with 20+ pages of tips and information, super informative and useful! Our flight was delayed getting to Nassau and we arrived pretty late in the evening, regardless of the delay, Mike stopped by that night to greet us and answer any questions we had with the property. Mike was also very responsive throughout our vacation to answer further questions that came up while we were there. The property we stayed at was simply amazing. It was very clean and well organized and equipped with everything we needed during our stay. The home was right on the beach and included plenty of outdoor furniture, water toys and towels to use while basking on the beach. Our vacation was so amazing that we will definitely return and plan to connect with Mike to ensure another fabulous vacation in paradise!

Summary: We stayed with 3 couples, and the pictures just don’t do it justice. Absolutely amazing view right on the ocean. We spent most of our time on the patio in the back and on the beach. Well stocked kitchen and amenities. Mike and Lisa were very fast to respond to questions before we arrived, and very friendly during our stay.

Summary: LOVED this vacation! Being right on the beach and so close to the water was wonderful. While we loved the condo and location, we did spend a fair amount of money on taxis to get to our excursions. Highly recommend a day trip to the Blue Lagoon! We can't wait to go back to the Bahamas and this condo!

Summary: We had an incredible stay at this property, I wasn't sure that it could live up to expectations from the photos but it delivered! It was exactly as pictured, and even better because you can't capture the sunshine and sea air! My mother was blown away when we walked in and we loved our stay. It was perfect for our family of 4, and there were tons of wonderful amenities for the adults and kids, plus plenty of space. It's a bit of a journey to the downtown area, but we didn't mind being somewhere quiet and away from the city. Just make sure you budget 30 minutes to get to Nassau for activities. I highly recommend, and hope to return again soon!
