On the far side of the Grampians, on the edge of Rocklands reservoir sits Yangoora. Once home to farmers, bee keepers, rose growers and tree changers. As you settle on the deck in the late afternoon, the red neck wallabies shyly appear and the native birds splash and natter in the coolness of the bird bath.
Kayak the clear water of Rocklands reservoir, wander the dirt track to fossick, explore and be captivated by the bush.

Summary: A wonderful homestead that is very well appointed. We loved feeding the wallabies, sheep and chickens. The balcony was beautiful place to sit and watch the birds. So relaxing and peaceful. Great accommodation.

Summary: This was the most relaxing weekend we've ever had. The property was perfect, we loved sitting on the verandah watching the wallabies and birds. We even spotted an echidna. The chickens provided us with fresh eggs, and the kids made use of the pool table and table tennis table. Highly recommend this property - we will be back.

Summary: We stayed at Yangoora for 8 nights in late June/early July. There were 9 people in our party. The house was spacious, clean and tidy. It is set in a beautiful location and surrounded by an abundance of wildlife. Sit out on the verandah and watch the wallabies, kangaroos and colourful parrots pass by. The games room provided entertainment with pool and table tennis competitions, and the pianola was used for singalongs. The Coonarra kept the place warm and toasty. The fire pit provided a great focus to gather around, swap stories, and watch the amazing stars. Rocklands reservoir was an easy walk from the property. It is the perfect place to relax, chill and take it easy. I would definitely recommend staying here.

Summary: This is a large and very comfortable and well-appointed house located on an expansive property. We enjoyed the peaceful surroundings in the bush, including the group of wallabies that seem to live around the house and gathering fresh eggs from the chook pen.

Summary: We had a wonderful time at Rocklands, where we were able to totally relax and detox from electronic devices. Great for families as there is plenty of things to do and see. The home is very comfortable and photos do not do it justice. It was lovely to meet Dan too!
