With wonderful views of the Mersey River we offer this beautiful apartment on the 2nd floor to you in the picturesque village of Milton, located near Liverpool, the former city of buccaneers. It has a fully functional kitchen and a bathroom with a corner shower stall, living room with a queen size sofa bed and a bedroom with a comfortable queen size bed. We are 1 hour and 45 minutes from Halifax International Airport, 50 minutes from Lunenburg, 1 hour 40 minutes from Yarmouth, and 30 minutes from Bridgewater. Only 15 minutes away from Beach Meadows with its beautiful sandy beach and 17 minutes away from the Summerville Beach Provincial Park, also with a beautiful beach. In the Kejimkujik National Park Seaside, which is located about 26 minutes from us, there are extraordinary plants and animals to discover for hikers. Our guests have even seen black bears there and during the summer months the seals sunbathe on the rocks. Let yourself be astonished by the natural surroundings!

Summary: What an amazing cosy place we found here. Our hosts went over and beyond to provide an unforgettable vacation. Super clean, tastefully decorated and well equipped with everything. Being able to plug in our electric car was a huge plus. This place is close to beaches, golf courses and splendid walking adventures. The 8 night stay flew by. We would be blessed to be able to return again some day.

Summary: Location was great. The host made the check in process seamless but the major bonus here is that every detail, want and need had been considered right down to a first aid kit in case we needed a band aid. The decor was tastefully unique and imaginative. Well worth a stay.

Summary: I enjoyed 5 wonderful days staying in Heidi and Nick's upstairs apartment. It felt like living in the treetops as there are beautiful views from every window. ( Apartment entrance is via an outside wooden staircase so I reccomend that you choose the ground floor apartment option if stairs are a problem for you ). The accomodation is top notch and I soon felt at home. My most favourite thing was the sumptuous bubble baths every night in the gorgeous red cast iron bath, which was especially welcome after miles of enjoyable beach walking at the closeby picturesque white sandy beaches of Summerville,Carters and Beach Meadows. Heidi & Nick are the most wonderful friendly hosts and I do absolutely highly recommend their "Riverview" vacation property for your next stay in the pretty village of Milton overlooking the spectacular Mersey river Liverpool. Summary: It’s picture perfect. Exactly what you see in the pictures is exactly what your apartment looks like. The attention to detail, both in design and outfitting the unit, were superb. There isn’t a thing that is needed to make your stay wonderful. The location is the perfect base to tour the western end of the south shore. And there is tourism information in the living room. While Heidi and her family only moved to NS a couple years ago, they are very knowledgeable about the region and the best beaches to visit. For those that like to walk, Milton is very walkable. Truly a relaxing spot and we can’t wait to go back.
