Summary: Our family ranging in age from 4 yers to 70+ thoroughly enjoyed our week at this lovely privately located cottage. Waterfront is great fun. Both the cottage and outside area are superior in quality, design and function. Everything you need is provided including a welcome treat bin and bottle of wine. Cleanliness is exemplary and the fire pit was great with firewood and kindling provided. We would definitely return if the opportunity presents itself.

Summary: We recently returned from a week at the 51B Gecieve Opinicon rental. What a fantastic property! You will have the entirety of a small peninsula with incomparable views across a wild section of Opinicon Lake. Combined with a rental pontoon from the nearby Skycroft campground we enjoyed the best the area can offer. Some of the best features include: Welcome package including wine and snacks. Gorgeous views from large interior windows. Best fire pit ever, with plenty of wood/kindling. Huge selection of water toys. Lots of outdoor seating possibilities. A few minor quibbles: look out for flocks of geese that invade the lawn in the mornings. We had to do some clean up and don't go barefoot! Also, there was only one kayak (and a canoe) on the property, rather than the three advertised.

Summary: From the moment you walk in the door the cottage is amazing, clean, has everything one could want to enjoy a weekend getaway. The landscaping and grounds are spectacular. The sound of the loons in the early morning and drinking your coffee by the fire pit or down by the platform is amazing. The Wi-Fi is phenomenal if you need to work and play! We will be back again! Fantastic place for family and friends. 5 stars across the board. Thanks for the great stay!!

Summary: There was something here for everyone to enjoy. The kids learned to kayak, tried paddle boarding, and had a great time swimming and using the kickboards. There are great places to just sit and relax (even on the hot days) the loungers were perfect. The dock was great for our boat, and the views of the lake are fabulous. Owners were easy to get in contact with and quick to answer any questions we had. We can’t wait to visit again.
