Summary: We had the most incredible stay at the Red House on the Alto Pass Wine Trail for Thanksgiving! From the moment we arrived, check-in was seamless, and the host was absolutely amazing—so kind, responsive, and available for anything we needed.The house itself was charming and cozy, with everything we could have asked for. And the town? Quaint, picturesque, and brimming with charm,it felt like stepping into a storybook!This stay made our holiday extra special, and we can’t wait to come back again. Summary: Everything was very nice! Beautiful bathroom, but it was made for tall people. At 5'2", I could not see my face in the mirror, nor could I reach the shower head to change settings.

Summary: The inside of the property is nice mostly. Light switches are a bit confusing and some seemed to do nothing. A lot of light bulbs were missing. There is no outdoor area worth using. The patio chairs have huge holes in them and the grill did not work.

Summary: Nice place. Comfortable beds. Snacks and coffee provided for those late nights and early mornings in case you didn’t bring your own to start. Very sufficient for a great place to sleep and start again the next day for hiking and exploring the area.

Summary: This was exactly what we needed for our trip!! My partner and I are rock climbers, we visit this area often to climb at the Holy Boulders in Pomona, and we came up at this time to see the eclipse. Usually we camp or stay up in Carbondale, but we are already looking at coming back here for our next trip! Alto Pass is so cute and cozy, and it was so nice to come back here and recharge after long days of climbing and hiking in the woods. Steve is an awesome host, and his spot is fully equipped with supplies. The kitchen is fantastic!! Loved the porch right outside to enjoy the nice spring weather. We’ve already told many of our friends about this place and raved about how great it is. We didn’t check out any of the wineries, but everything is in such close proximity and looks so great that I can see why people visit for that. HIGHLY recommend staying here!!!!
