1 Bedroom Apartment in Southampton

Spacious, private and very conveniently located one bedroom, one bathroom apartment in Southampton. Electric car charging ports. Near Gibbs Hill Lighthouse, Horseshoe Bay Beach, The Reefs Hotel, and Bermuda's historic railway trail for walking, biking. You can't go wrong here! Bus stop at the bottom of Lighthouse Road takes you in either direction -- Hamilton is 20 mins away, Dockyard is 15 mins away. Port Royal Golf Course only 10 mins by bus or cab. The bedroom has a king-sized bed, bathroom is newly-renovated and has shower, pedestal sink and loo. (Bathroom is off master bedroom, so if more than 2 people, you have to be comfortable with going into master to get to bathroom. ). Covered patio, and lovely pool. Firestick smart TV, washer, dryer, fully equipped kitchen, bar-height counter, living/dining area separate. Chair bed in living room (single). Lovely garden setting, covered porch, pool area, gas barbeque, and more! Recently installed charging ports for 220V and 110V for new electric rental cars!
Pool House Unit 2 is a two-bedroom rental unit next door to this one, but it is rented on a longer term basis. The pool is shared by all renters on the property. Both units have private outdoor patios with own barbeques.
Owner resides in Pool House Unit 1 when it is not rented, so visitors need to understand this is a true home rental, not a hotel room. You will feel that it is a home away from home. There are locked owner cupboards and some personal items in the apartment (photos, books, etc ) but plenty of closet and pantry space for renters.
Quiet neighbourhood - very peaceful and private, with several restaurants within walking distance and many more a short bus, taxi or cark/mo-ped ride away.

Summary: We were in Bermuda for the month of February and it was magical. It was a fabulous property and very lush and peaceful. Diana is a terrific host and gave us excellent recommendations and helped us discover how special and kind the people of Bermuda are and the beautiful of this island. The whole experience touched our hearts. We will return and can’t wait.

Summary: Anyone who successfully gets a booking with Diana and Jez at this Bermuda location will have really lucked out. The property is beautiful, the pool is just right and the hosts are so helpful while still giving you space to discover this glorious island and it's people. We were there for Hurricane Fiona and our hosts steered us safely through it. All together a wonderful vacation.

Summary: A great place to spend an enjoyable vacation. Great views overlooking Great Sound. You can also see the dockyard in the distance. This property is close to the bus stop which is very helpful in catching the bus. If you rent a scooter or electric vehicle, this property has a place to park the scooter or charge your vehicle. Very close to beaches. Such as Horseshoe Bay, Warwick Long Bay, Stonehole Bay etc. Accommodations are wonderful. Plenty of room to relax. We made breakfast every morning and went out for dinner, but you can also Make your meals there if you choose to do so. Our hosts were very accommodating and their hospitality wonderful. We will definitely stay at the Pool House again on our next vacation to Bermuda. Quiet, peaceful and serene. A wonderful place!!

Summary: Ideal property in a great location, especially if you enjoy golf, walking, cycling and swimming in wonderful bays. Kitchen was very well equipped and king-size bed super comfy. Diana and Jez were perfect hosts in every way - very friendly but not intrusive.

Summary: Having the Pool House for our home away from home set the stage for our wonderful vacation in Bermuda. Diana and Jez were exceptional hosts and helpful in many big and little ways. The property is in an ideal location for visiting some of the best beaches and restaurants as well as an easy walk to a bus stop. The house was extremely comfortable, very clean, and well furnished. It is stocked with anything you need and then some. There are hookups for charging an electric vehicle(we rented an Anaig which has air conditioning).We enjoyed taking off for the day and coming back to spend time at the pool and chats with Diana and Jez. I would highly recommend renting The Pool House and look forward to returning for a repeat visit.

Summary: Our hosts, Diana and Jez, made our trip! They went out of their way to ensure we made the most of our stay. The rental unit is a “pool house” which is actually a large, well appointed one bedroom apartment adjacent to a private swimming pool. They have a twizzy charger on their property which is a HUGE CONVENIENCE.
