The Deck House is located at the lower Western end of the same property as our listing 396719, with VRBO. Entry is through French doors which opens onto it's own private patio. Upon entry into the apartment the kitchen is fully equipped with a stove, full refrigerator and a queen size bed to accommodate 2 guests only. As you gaze out to sea, this unobstructed view of the south shore leaves you in “awe”. If you yearn for peace, tranquility and space you have come to the end of your search. This reverse air conditioned unit has a separate bathroom with shower. Laundry facility on site which makes your vacation perfect. This resort area has the finest restaurants and a major bus route for convenience at the top of “de hill” all within walking distance. As you step out your French door you walk straight into our fruits, veggies and herb gardens. Our chickens will provide you with fresh eggs....NO roasters. You will be grated by the lovely sounds of the ocean and the many birds especially the kiskadee birds and the moorning doves. Yes, your own prinvate beach to enjoy – Crossbay Beach only steps away. The flight of steps immediately to the side of the unit take you to Deck 80. This large open patio elevates to a common area which is unobstructed, overlooking three beaches, Princess Beach Club and the Reef's Resort. Perfect for Whale Watching (seasonal) and taking in the best sunsets. Welcome to Bermuda. Come and "feel the love".

Summary: We had a fabulous stay at Lorna's property! First trip to Bermuda and couldn't have asked for anything better. Beautiful view of ocean, easy beach access, bus stop at the "top a de hill", great location, excellent host! Accommodations were wonderful, comfortable bed, ocean view and sounds of nature....had everything we needed. Several restaurants within walking distance. Henry's pantry has the best chicken leg and egg roll, perfect to eat while watching whales from the deck house patio! Lorna was very accommodating from the time of booking, providing transportation information (Belinda was great taxi service), and making check-in/out a breeze. Perfect home away from home! Bermuda is such a beautiful island, people are friendly, lots to see and do. Hope to come back with our family and stay in the main house. Thanks Lorna for a fabulous stay!

Summary: Lorna, the property, the beaches, and the island are amazing! If you want to go to a nearby restaurant or grocery store, call Lorna’s transportation, contact Belinda Wilson and her husband Ed. Schedule them in advance and they’re great. “Hitch” is their Uber and it is horrible!

Summary: We stayed for 8 nights, the property is simply incredible. The views are breathtaking and it's about 1 minute from one of, if not, the best beach on the island. We went all over and couldn't find a beach we liked better.100% recommend to anyone that wants an excellent location and a wonderful host.If we ever come back to Bermuda in the future, we are definitely going to be looking at Gemstones again.Thanks for a wonderful vacation Lorna!

Summary: Lorna was a great host, very responsive with communications and provided transportation tips to/from airport. We basically had a private beach during our stay, easy walk to eat and other beaches, room nice and comfortable for our stay.

Summary: The moment you drive down the driveway and see the amazing ocean views from the house you know you’re staying somewhere special! We stayed in Studio By the Sea which was a lovely apartment with very comfortable bed and kitchen that has everything you need to prepare a meal. Our host Lorna makes you feel very welcome and was extremely responsive to our communications. She generously allowed us to park our two seater EV next to the apartment and charge for free. We would happily stay there again if we return to Bermuda someday.

Summary: Great location and very comfortable studio. Host Lorna is super kind and helpful. Location is perfect on a nice beach. You can see the ocean from inside the studio! Studio is well equipped and comfortable. I will definitely return!

Summary: Deck House exceeded my expectations in almost every way - very clean and well maintained, accurate description, plenty of amenities/kitchen tools/beach supplies, incredible views, beach path ease, and the loveliest hosts. Lorna and Greg were so welcoming and kind, happy to chat but respectful of solitude, and helpful with any needs. Even the towels and toilet paper were of high quality! The bay's water is calm and protected, with clear water and plentiful reefs for excellent snorkeling, and the pink sand is the softest of landings. If you are looking for a peaceful, relaxing time, this is THE place!

Summary: Lorna and Greg were excellent hosts! The property was clean and comfortable, allowing us to relax and take full advantage of the location. The view cannot be beat, and the access to the private beach was amazing. The south shore of Bermuda has so much to offer and this property was ideally situated to make the most of the island.
