Summary: 2 weeks in this quiet home not far from a sweet Mexican town, cenotes, and beaches. The owners were easy to communicate with, and Manuela (the manager) met us. She was just a phone call away if you need anything. There’s also an incredible chef, Adela a 5 minute walk from Villa Kuxtah. In our experience, Villa Kuxtah is perfect for a couple, 2 couples or a family. We only rented 1 of the 2 bedrooms that are available so can’t speak to the 2nd bedroom. Ours was huge, with a comfortable bed (& pull out trundle bed underneath if you have kids) and attached bathroom, shower and walk in closet area. Air conditioning was perfect in the bedroom and kitchen living room/dining room space. Lots of screened doors too. We used the pool all day every day. The hammocks and outside day bed are delightful, although you have to plan your timing given the heat. I would say that this place is ideal for anyone who wants peace & quiet and not being in a resort. It will be easiest if you rent a car, as it’s off a busy road. The Mayan Train is being built so LOTS of trucks, but you seriously don’t even hear them at the house! You could use a taxi in a pinch though. Loved Villa Kuxtah and give it a big thumbs up 👍
