Positive: Location is perfect. Right on the reefs for some good snorkeling.

Negative: One of the more pricey options of the area. We booked this one expecting a more luxurious stay. That was not the case. The accommodation itself needs some maintenance. The bathroom is old, not very clean. Food is mediocre.

Positive: The Staff is amazingly friendly and flexible! Blown away with every meal they served.

Negative: Plastic and wasre floating around the lodge makes it not very appealing to snorkel. But I guess that is a problem in Indonesia in general. I wish they would educate local people how to deal with plastic and waste.

Positive: What a magical place. The location is super beautiful, it is nice and quiet, the people who work there are super nice and helpful, and they provide the most delicious food for you if you want. they also organize activities that you can do there such as boat trips. more than this place and some social contacts you do not need. The room is well maintained, there is wifi, the bathroom is a bit primitive, but the rest makes up for it. 10 out of 10.

Negative: I Don't like the facilities😐... I feel cheated☹️ When I booked a room on booking.com, everything was clearly stated as to what was included in the room payment. It turned out that when we arrived, everything written on booking.com it's not same. We had to pay separately, starting from breakfast, lunch and dinner, we had to pay for everything and if we wanted to eat, we had to order in advance, otherwise there would be no food,and there is no choice of food.😭 There were no welcome fruits as written on booking.com and there was no drinking water provided in the room, so we had to buy water from a small shop in the middle of the village and we had to walk about 20-30 minutes to get there. and also there are no restaurants provided or available in the hotel and surrounding area even in village there's no restaurants.🥲

Positive: This is a nice hotel with a spectacular scenery, in a picturesque bay surrounded by tropical mountains. The air and the water are very clean, the staff is friendly and helpful, and effective in organizing trips. The food they serve is simple, but plenty and very tasty. It is not a luxury hotel, but we can highly recommend it.

Negative: There is no hot water in the bath. There is no air conditioning, but this was not a problem for us. You have to bring Indonesian cash, there is no exchange possibilities and ATM machine.

Summary: If you look for the beauty and peace of nature, this is the place for you.

Positive: The views, the remoteness, the bats at 18.27, the staff, the food and the overall ambience of the place. The village is very interesting and friendly. The boat trips are fabulous, you can enjoy the best reefs without another boat. A bit pricey as we were only two. On the plus side we were the only guests so our experience was very quiet and private. Irfan was really great with communication and arrangements for transport.

Negative: This is a ramshackle Maldivian 'style' cabin. The rooms are basic, don't expect luxury. If there had been other guests staying, it would have been very challenging with no privacy. Any footsteps on jetty vibrate through the whole place! Unfortunately, the currents bring much rubbish in the waters beside the cabins, so swimming from the jetty is not pleasant.

Positive: Awesome location, very remote and unspoilt (except for some plastic waste from the villages - not the owner's fault). The owner (Irfan) had a solution for every request - the highlight being a day snorkelling on pristine reefs with not another tourist in-sight. Comfortable bed and very relaxing sleeping over waves with calls to prayers in the distance. Oh....and NO mosquitos:) The hundreds of bats that fly in a line from the caves out to sea at 6.27pm precisely every day, are quite a sight.

Negative: I expected pretty basic cabins, but a small additional outlay on things like bedside tables/lamps, shelves, new curtains, and cushions for outdoor chairs would make a big difference

Summary: Incredible experience - remote, peaceful, friendly. Beautiful / vibrant reef surrounded by nature.
