Positive: Unfortunately, prior to my arrival (noon same day) at the premises the host informed there was an issue with the room and I won't be able to stay there. As a compensation I was offered another accommodation, which was far too away for me in terms of meetings, travel plans, etc. That's why I refused it and the host agreed to provide me with a full refund. I appreciate that as I really did not need to reach out to booking.com, explain the situation, and try to resolve the issue in a more complicated and unnecessarily intense way. I am giving the review because of the good communication with the host in such a situation as it's not a given.

Negative: The a/c was broken when we arrived and it continued to not work throughout the stay. We had to have someone come to the room to fix it several times which was not ideal after a long travel. We just wanted to sleep when we arrived and could not do that due to the disturbance of the maintenance as well as the temperature of the room. The host continued to message me while I was at dinner and the hassle of the room ended up costing us a lot of our time and we were only in Milan for one night- there was no toilet paper in the bathrooms and the other guests were very loud in the hallway. It was altogether a very bad experience. Wouldn’t stay here again.
