Beautiful home with original wood craftsmanship throughout. Updated, well maintained and clean 2 bedroom, 1 bath located at the base of the Tobacco Root Mountains on the Jefferson River. Just 7 miles from the town of Whitehall and very close to National Forest Access with great hiking and hunting. 2 miles to the Copper K Barn event venue and 3 miles to the Kountz Bridge Fishing Access. 4 miles to Renova primitive hot springs. 60 miles from Bozeman, 30 miles from Butte and 120 miles to West Yellowstone.
The house has a wonderful sunroom with rockers to sit and enjoy the views of the mountains and river. Nice kitchen with everything you need to prepare your own meals. There is also a private courtyard with a picnic table and gas grill for outdoor dining.
Mountain views from every window in the house and river views on the west. Prefect for watching those Montana sunsets.
There is a fruit tree orchard on the property with 45 trees. Take a walk around the orchard or sit on the park bench and just enjoy being surrounded by trees. Summary: We totally enjoyed our stay! Our only complaint is that it was too short! Perfect location for our stay, right down the road from the wedding we were attending. Spotlessly clean and the view was amazing! Would totally stay again.

Summary: The Good Stunning views, wildlife, comfortable beds Lots of space River access is cool. Bathroom remodel was great. The no slip penny tile on the floor was a nice touch. Fishing gear and waders provided with a sign indicating they were for guest use. The glass porch with rockers offers great views with no bugs. Main area seating was very comfortable. Kitchen was adequate and well stocked. The bad 2 portable ac units take a long time to cool the space. If the back tv room is occupied and the door is closed the other ac struggles to keep up. It was August when we were there to be fair. Numerous fans provided do help keep the air moving. Small 30 gallon water heater so take fast showers Water temperature is hard to adjust in the shower as there is no mixing valve so it might take you a while to get the temp you like but with only 2 of us staggering showers we had hot water. No curtain in the bathroom but a towel made my wife feel more at ease. The ugly Not clean this time. Dog hair on couch and floors, crumbs all over table and floors, people hair in shower and the floors were really bad. Refrigerator needed a good scrubbing too. We spent the first 45 mins cleaning. We were pretty disappointed by that but with all the clean reviews this time seems like an anomaly. Despite that we would not hesitate to stay here again. D predisappoithatthastaying.

Summary: Third night of a 3 and a half day trip. Really great place with spectacular views. They have so much any age group could enjoy. Full kitchen. We stopped on the way in to get supper to cook. If you’re looking for a quiet get away to relax without the noise and crowds, this place is perfect. Always nice to have a pack and play and infant high chai available

Summary: Don't look any further, this is the place you want! A little bit off the beaten path with fabulous views. Pictures are accurate but don't do it justice! Joe and Lisa are excellent and thought of everything one might need on vacation plus some! We couldn't be happier with our stay and would most definitely stay here again!

Summary: This is our 4th time staying here. We love everything about it. It's off the beaten path, so quiet and peaceful. My grandkids know where the toys are and always head there first. Joe and Lisa moved the horses up to the corral by the cabin and my granddaughter was in love. Thank you guys for another beautiful visit❤

Summary: What can I say? The view is the wow factor with this property but even still the house itself is homely, pristine and very well appointed. The owners are very friendly, considerate and very quick to respond to inquiries. Will definitely recommend this place.
