Positive: It was wonderful! After I booked I read a very bad review here from somebody who said it was the worst stay ever and all good reviews must be fake which made me a bit nervous. Well. I guess that review must have been fake (how frustrated must one be to write a review like that just to hurt a business). This place was amazing and we will definitely come back. It is located right in the center of Peschiera del Garda-about 30 seconds (!) from the harbor. I think everybody mentioned that in their review already :) You get the key from the staff in the restaurant below the apartment: L’Osteria. They were all so nice and helpful! At first we couldn’t find the parking garage (it belongs to a hotel called ‘Pavillion’ which is about 1-2 minutes walking distance from the restaurant. They charge €20 per night but it is a very safe garage and you get a key card so you can come and go as you please. For us it was totally worth it). There is also public parking at the harbor and another very close public lot where we parked at first - but for us that didn’t feel too safe so we ended up moving the car to the parking garage. We arrived around noon and decided to eat lunch at L’Osteria (yes, at the end of the vacation I can say that they do have the best pizza in town) while we waited for the apartment to be ready. After lunch one of the staff took us upstairs. This is an old building with no elevator so you will have to carry your luggage upstairs - but that is really no big deal. The staff even offered to carry the luggage for us which was unnecessary. The apartment was very spacious, super clean, and even though some people here complained about the noise from the restaurant-we could not hear a single thing. Also not at night when the place was really packed. So I am not sure why this was an issue for others. The kitchens is small but absolutely functioning if you do not plan on preparing a 5 course dinner for a bunch of people.

Negative: I had to select Exceptional be sure people will see this review, as the truthful poor ones don’t get seen unless filter, it was exceptionally BAD, goodreviews must be fake! The TRUTH is in the poor and very poor reviews, please read those to know the truth of this rotten place. I had booked 4 nights, based on the photos and great reviews! I arrived a day early and intended to add an extra night to my stay, I was told the apartment I booked was available and a waiter from the restaurant where other apartments are above, took me to the place, down the street. Everything was awful. The apartment was inside a building undergoing renovations, with a building sheet over the entire building, the apartment was dark, depressing, ugly, a monstrosity of a place, like a crack den, a place to go to be punished - nothing like the photos on Booking.com, a complete fake! I had specifically asked for a bright room with no orange or red walls as some photos showed these decorations, I am unwell with depression, I went there to help myself feel better, it was a complete rip off, an absolute lie, never in my life have I seen such an ugly place being offered to people for a holiday! Reading the poor reviews I saw the truth in those because I had seen it with my own eyes! The brown and black walls, the brown looks like smeared excrement in swirly thick paint , and black walls, who could like brown & black walls?! It was dinghy and weird, a strange place, a bad vibe & smelly, I saw it was a bad joke on anyone who paid to go there. I felt physically sick just standing in it, I left immediately. The waiter who was a lovely guy ( he is the 'very good ' ) he rang the manager, he refunded the money I just paid for the extra night after stepping foot in it for 1 minute, but he refused to refund me anything for the next 4 nights I paid for. I was so distressed, I had to go home early because of the upset & loss of money, I couldn't afford to pay to go elsewhere.
Summary: It was so hideous I could not stay in it, good reviews must be FAKE Read the poor reviews for truth!

Positive: I really like hospitality of the hotel's master Mirko. He was so cute to drive earlier than it was told and opened our room during siesta. Also he helped with luggage and offered nice places to visit. Was very attentive with us during the diner in Osteria. We really highly recommend this hotel to visit. It is very comfortable location with beautiful view. Also the rooms were cozy with nice design and lots of washing staff in the bathroom. We will definitely come back!

Negative: I didn`t like a lightning, the apartment is very dark and not suitable for families with kids - the bathroom has no door, and the shower cabin is completely transparent, which is absolutely not convenient for families with children, because when someone wants to take a shower, the rest of the family has to sit in the room. Due to the lack of a door, it is also very noisy, it is impossible to take a shower if someone is sleeping. In the evening, there was no hot water, the child had to be washed in cold water.

Negative: Very noisy up to 1am in the morning. The windows need to be double glazed to shut out the noise. The lighting in the entire apartment was very bad. Very dim. Kitchen very basic and lacked an electric kettle. The entire complex needs updating.
