Summary: Superb property in a stunning location. We were so comfortable in this beautiful holiday home which had everything you could need. Ann was there to greet us with a friendly smile and she had been so accommodating during the booking process. We couldn't have asked for better and this will most definitely go down as one of our best holidays. Wall to wall blue skies and sun helped of course. Oh and of course a very atmospheric beach bar just a few yards away contributed as well. Thank you Ann for letting us stay in your lovely home with our little dog Bene. Liz and Chris Boys

Summary: We liked the quiet yet near beach location, calm and fountained little green garden and accessible car park. House and kitchen was clean and reasonably well equipped and for a week of cooking our own meals we especially liked that consumables like spices, detergents and so forth were readily available. Anne was a helpful, welcoming hostess.

Summary: Wow what a fab week we have had staying in this property, it was perfect and we didn't want to come home. It made a very special family holiday and we wished we had booked 2 weeks. Anne is very helpful, efficient and friendly and nothing is too much trouble. She made us feel very welcome. The house is very homely with everything you could possibly want for a holiday. It is a lovely property with good living space and bedrooms. The garden was brilliant and contained which was brill with 2 young children. There is a great BBQ there which we used every night as had superb weather. The island is beautiful and we thought it was such a special place to explore. The property is fantastically located only 5 mins from a lovely sandy beach which our kids loved. Our son learnt to ride his bike on the flat straight path along the beach which was brilliant. There is a great play park on the beach about 10 mins walk from the house which became a daily visit. We visited lots of the villages on the island, many by bike. The cycle tracks are amazing from the house and well sign posted. It is so flat everywhere it is very easy cycling and so enjoyable as you pass through vineyards, forests, oyster beds, salt marshes and countryside. We cannot recommend this house and location of it highly enough it is an absolute delight you will love it 😍

Summary: This was our third holiday at L'Ostreane, and it feels..... home from home. A long journey from United Kingdom, with our dog...but we do enjoy being here., in Rivedoux....!! And this gîte is , so well equiped, so comfortable, and very welcoming !!! This is a very special place, and anyone who has stayed here, would agree We already are looking forward, to our next holidag there !

Summary: This was our second holiday, staying in L'Ostreane, and it will not be our last ! It is perfect in so many ways, obviously location, and only two mins walk to the beach...it is extremely comfortable, sunny, south and west facing aspect, fully equiped and very well maintained and clean ....the village of Rivedoux, an easy walk, with restaurants, shops, and a good market. You will receive a very warm welcome , from Anne Townsend, the owner, who takes great pleasure and pride in L'Ostreane I am sure you will enjoy your stay there, as much as we do !

Summary: A lovely warm welcome from the owner Anne, to her very attractive Gite, all so well presented, spotlessly clean and very well equiped.. we had, with our labrador Jasper, a wonderful two weeks here......good restaurants and shops all close by only a short walk, and the highlight, a lovely long sandy beach, two minutes walk away......we had a car, but renting bicycles would be a great option. We are already looking forward to a return holiday here !
