🏠Our Cabin is very different from other lake cabins. Our cabin was built in the longhouse style with more windows than walls. Our front deck over looks the lake that sits 20' from the shore. We have a patio to grill or sit by the fire at night. We have a modern kitchen all new appliances in 2018/21, including washer and dryer. The cabin faces west so sitting on the deck to watch the sunset is wonderful. There is a walking trail around the lake plus other trails in our 70 acre woodland. This a community, there are 11 individual owners.. The cabins are situated on approximately 1/3 of the shore line. The development of this community focuses on a balanced eco system. The property consists of a 13 acre spring fed lake, two prairies, acres of woodlands and a creek in the woods to enjoy the waterfowl that land for a rest. This property is quite difficult to explain. Our renters love it, mainly because has the feeling of "Our Own Little Idaho". Our property includes quite a large yard that can be used for Bocce Ball, Volley Ball, Croquet, and many other outdoor games. Our cabin is located just 11 miles to Elkhart Lake or Road America, it is 14 miles from some of the worlds best golf courses and it is 20 miles or less to get to Lake Michigan.
Summer and fall in Wisconsin; hiking, swimming, volleyball, Bocce ball, barbeques, relaxing on the deck looking out over the lake and enjoying the peacefulness that surrounds The Cabin. Add an evening Pit fire or indoor fireplace and you have perfection! Plan your family getaway or take some time for yourself at The Cabin. A private spring fed lake and 70 acres of walking trails. There is a water trampoline (seasonal), canoes, kayaks and paddleboats for you to enjoy. Children and dogs love the freedom to run around and explore. There is also calm and relaxation. Been planning to read a book - this is the place.
Road America is 11 miles from this private lake community. Elkhart Lake along with the infamous ⛳️Kohler golf courses are 14 miles from our lake. Lake Michigan is just 20 miles from the cabin.
Host, Mike built this long house style cabin in 2003, for our family. It is the perfect place to bring your family and spend time having fun and relaxing together. The cabin is bright and enveloping. Take some time to read, to rest, to hike, to swim, to play games, and to spend time together.
It is fabulous! Walk the cut trails through the woods and prairie, watch for deer, owls, and the waterfowl on the creek. This one of a kind place is something you must experience, we are sure you will want to return year after year. We look forward to meeting you.
