Positive: A beautiful immaculately clean house, with lots of facilities and very comfortable beds. The staff very helpful and quick to respond should you need it. There are local shops, cafes, pubs nearby. Food at The shed , was amazing and excellent food also at the Victoria pub, both very close by. Plenty of cooking utensils if you do want to eat in. It is within easy walking distance of Newcastle under Lyme Town centre and also good local transport. The Brampton Museum and park , is a lovely almost hidden gem and definitely worth a visit, as is the town centre. Excellent area, quiet, but near to so many places. A lovely stay and would definitely stay again.
Negative: This is a beautiful place, but just a few small things. The key lock box is at ankle level and so could be awkward for some people. It was difficult to get the box lid down even when set correctly. That is fine in good weather and light, but would have been difficult in winter. Just a personal thing, but would have liked to watch terrestrial TV. Although we could access the channels available on the lovely large smart TV. ( excellent TV). Can't really understand why this couldn't be available as well. Not being able to enter before 4.00 pm on date of arrival. No issue in summer. Had it been winter and with accessing at dark, we would have needed a torch to see the keylock and code. 3.00pm seems to be the norm in most places and would be helpful, especially in winter. Likewise day of departure, needing to get out by 10.00 am, seems early. Norm on places we have stayed at seems to be between 10.30 to 11.00 am. Appreciate need to get the place cleaned etc., before next guests, however, seems early. None of the above distracted from a fantastic stay. This is a lovely property. Thank you.

Positive: The house was ok. The bathroom and bedrooms were clean. Parking was easy on the road outside.
Negative: You need to provide a lot of personal information and photos to prove identity to the company that manage the property. They are based overseas and although the person I was messaging, was quick to respond, they could do nothing about the broken sofa or lack of kitchen pots and pans during our stay. The house smelt of stale cigarettes. Not that this mattered to us but the garden yard may need cleaning if you have young children due to the dog poo.
Summary: it's ok but bring your own kitchen stuff

Negative: Lock box is very low to the ground and difficult to access, literally had to kneel on the wet sidewalk to obtain the keys. Luckily I was traveling with my daughter or I would not have been able to enter.
