Positive: We hired a car for our holiday so drove ourselves to the accommodation. This was an experience itself as the road in needs considerable repair. This lodge is set at the furthest point compared with other accommodation. This made it feel wonderfully secluded. I would not have wanted to stay in the nearer lodges as these did not feel like a real desert experience. The accommodation was of a high standard and very clean. It was a very relaxing stay and the staff (as everywhere we stayed in Morocco were very helpful and nice. The room was enormous.
Negative: The showers were very low pressure and kept running from boiling to freezing. This was not a problem for just a couple of nights but for a longer stay, it would have been annoying. But it is supposed to be a kind of camping experience so really needs to be looked at that way. There wasn't a huge amount to do. We were offered a camel ride, quad biking and massage but other things advertised (wider spa treatments, yoga and hiking) were not offered. Again, this would have been difficult for a longer trip but we were only there a couple of days and it was ideal for relaxing.

Positive: Great place to stay for a trip out of Marrakech. There are desert camps closer to the main road but it's worth driving further to get to Oxygen Lodge. Beautiful rooms and site, and such friendly staff. Food was great. There in Dec so evenings were cold but lots of heaters around, blankets outside and woodburning stove in the tents made them toasty warm. We had booked excursions through booking.com but they hadn't got them - though things were quickly and smoothly arranged for us by the staff. Great service
Negative: pool was very cold, but it was December and advertised as not heated so I am not complaining! Was still nice to sit around it on the lovely loungers
