Positive: The pros: Overall worth it for the location and the full amenities for hosting family here. The master bed was a bit hard but very roomy. It’s a small house but it feels bigger because there are walls and hallways in between rooms. The amenities were fabulous. Everything you would need including hair dryer. You can literally walk in 5 minutes or less to the entrance of the pacific crest trail. Right next to the cascade locks green mountain bike trails with a 5 minute drive and 20 minutes from hood river shops and food and post canyon mountain biking.
Negative: and cons. The smell of old NW house mildew was a little off putting and the master bedroom I had to pull the bed back to plug a charger in, they need an extension cord. No wifi so be aware, there is cell service though. Only 1 bathroom, but can get by. Not fenced in for dogs but on the back roads so not a big deal. Be aware the freeway overpass is right next to the place but the cabin is pretty darn sound proof.
