Summary: This little hidden gem was a surprise. Seemed unassuming from the exterior, but was very surprised by the renovated interiors. The rooms were spotless.

Summary: Clean updated rooms and bathrooms. Air conditioning is a huge plus. The parking is very limited. I was very impressed with the size of the rooms and the bed was decently comfortable, just very loud when you move even slightly. The WiFi needs help, we got onto our Netflix and it kept pausing every few minutes until we gave up. No curtains to block out the morning light. Unfortunately I just find it overpriced.

Summary: We were able to book a ground floor dog, friendly room with short notice. We were surprised at how clean the room was. The beds and pillows were comfortable. There was a K cup coffee maker, microwave, refrigerator, and complementary earplugs. We found the enclosed area for the dogs to go to the bathroom useful. I do feel the parking could be better. It was a tight fit, and there weren’t a lot of open spots. However, all in all we were pleased.

Summary: Everything was great. The only weird thing was there wasn’t a bedside table on both sides of the bed. So my husband had to put all this stuff on the ground. But that’s nothing major, just annoying.

Summary: The room (King bed) was spacious and always clean. No problem with the parking and the hotel was full the weekend we stayed. The mini fridge worked perfectly. The microwave too. No noise from the nearby airport only a little from the Fremont blvd but if you’re tired you don’t care about it. The location is pretty close to Monterey downtown and Monterey state beach but being the hotel close to the PCH (1) you can go easily and fast to the beaches north and south of Monterey.

Summary: Great property for a weekend stay. Very clean room ( with daily cleaning) and newly renovated, very accessible location, and pretty quiet (suggest requesting a 2nd floor unit) but we really enjoyed the motel. Dive kitchen with a great breakfast menu near the property, easy parking lot.

Summary: Older no-frills motel on outskirts of town but well maintained and clean. It wasn’t fancy but the price was right. Only issue was we asked the front desk if our room would be serviced and towels changed while we were out for the day. The gentleman at the desk said “yes, of course.” When we returned that evening, housekeeping had not been to our room. My friend went to the front desk to tell the gentleman on duty and he didn’t seem concerned. He just pointed to a cabinet in the lobby and said “there’s more towels over there.” No apology.

Summary: Tired property. Bad location right on N Fremont St so expect a lot of road noise. There are ear plugs in the bathroom so that should be a tell. The Wifi was useless. Kept getting kicked off the Wifi. Never worked, not even for 5 minutes. Several nights the housekeeping staff did not clean my room. Towels are paper thin as is the bedding. Very budget facility but I paid through the nose because it was Car Week - almost $700 a night for what is maybe a $50/night budget motel by the Interstate any other time of year. Avoid unless you're desperate.
