Positive: A perfect little private, rustic hideaway for a "Glamping" weekend away. Everything you need was provided and was as expected. Vanessa was a lovely host and we definitely look forward to returning again one day :-)

Positive: We enjoyed our hideaway in the trees for one night and it was absolutely lovely. Perfect if you want to get away from it all and we had an outdoor fire for breakfast time to keep us cosy. Very peaceful.

Positive: Enjoyed our time there, very relaxing and really got the city out of our system. Used the firepit and able to enjoy the night sky .We had a wedding to attend close by and the shack was the perfect place.Thanks to Vanessa for attending to our small requests, well done and will be back again to explore the area.

Positive: Beautiful location, very quiet and peaceful.

Negative: I’m afraid I thought that it was very overpriced for what it was. The bed was comfortable, but the room was exceptionally hot, with no air con. Very little space and no room or furniture to sit inside. I accept without question that it is not luxury accomodation and not having those things is not particularly a problem for me, however I was not prepared for quite how basic it was. I think if the description was a little more accurate, then it might have been better. Parking 50+ metres downhill from the shack, literally in a paddock, would make it difficult for those of limited mobility, and would also make a winter / rainy weekend stay albeit impossible. With virtually no mobile reception, receiving the additional information about a power outlet, or other lights, etc. would have been useful before arriving. For a one night stay, taking minimal items, it is fun, but not anything longer.

Summary: Fine for one night, very basic, but unfortunately, rather overpriced.

Positive: Gorgeous little shack in a beautiful spot. Waking up to the views of the ranges and sounds of the birds was a particular highlight. The shots were incredibly responsive and generous. They even offered us a night after our booking as we weren't able to make it for the first night
