Positive: Classy French Colonial style hotel in a quiet location Very good value for money. .

Negative: Breakfast for me was below average both in choice, and service but I seem to be in a minority of one reading other reviews. However, I was served the smallest 2 egg scrambled eggs I've ever had in a hotel...and I've been to many around Asia and elsewhere.

Positive: Great clean modern hotel at a good price. Easy to walk everywhere, or Grabs are so cheap you can take them everywhere (download the app). Staff were efficient and friendly. Handy to break down big notes at the front desk. Breakfast decent. Beds very comfy, but pillows were massive so I slept on my coat instead. Free watering the room to refill your water bottles for the day. 2 absolutely brilliant locals restaurants when you come out of the hotel and turn right. The first one is a noodle soup place called - Khmer Noodles restaurant and the second is in the same direction, but take a right of hotel and then right at the end of the road. It is the 3rd one along (I think) with yellow frontage, cooking going on on the right as you look from the street, a man making papaya salad at the front on a table facing the street, and wooden long benches and tables. Fabulous food. Highly recommend. It’s got a local name and I can’t translate.

Negative: Ran out of hot water quickly in the shower. Would love to have a thinner options of pillows in the cupboard.
