Positive: This is a genuine 5 star experience and surprisingly tranquil oasis in vibrant Phnom Penh. Absolutely loved our big very comfortable room, the beautiful pool and fabulous helpful staff! The Mealea restaurant is outstanding and very good value for money.

Negative: The only downside to our wonderful experience at this fabulous hotel was the lack of available sun beds by the pool. As a suggestion the hotel should not allow non-residents to use the pool when the hotel is busy.

Negative: Fairly poor access for people with a walking disability, the entrance ramp and stairs are steep, the ramp could do with a handrail. Likewise the steps down to the pool are that I couldn’t access and enjoy. I was also disappointed that there was no window in the room considering the price .

Positive: The entrance and lobby gave the wrong first impression of this amazing hotel. A bit basic and dated, not a 5* impression. However from then on I can not fault anything. The interior decoration, the tropical feeling at the pool and the staff, all classically dressed in black with crispy white shirts gives a colonial feeling. What stands out: - great spacious room. Spotless and every night full turn down service. You don’t see that anymore - good water pressure in shower - very comfortable bed even with pillow menu - extensive breakfast buffet with any fresh coffee on demand. Perfect. - we only had food at the pool but every time surprisingly good and reasonably priced - the staff: I may say that this hotel has the best trained staff I’ve ever experienced. All of of them are attentive and will greet you anytime you see them. This hotel knows what hospitality is about - location : everything at walking distance

Negative: Of If I have to mention something : - the bacon at breakfast was never crispy, not even close to it - the orange juice at b’fast was not fresh

Positive: Beautiful property perfect location. Absolutely first rate in every aspect. Wonderful breakfast with great assortment and made to order egg dishes. Very helpful staff. Highly recommended. Do yourself a favor and get a nice relaxing massage in the spa.
