Summary: Our five days at the apartment was supposed to be rainy but ended up being warm and sunny every day. We loved being able to use the pool and the room was spacious and newly remodeled. The hosts were very accommodating and I enjoyed conversing with them. They provided me with tips on the area too. There was a nice bakery and a cortina restaurant a few minutes walk away. The pretty garden that surrounded the house was an extra bonus.

Summary: This rental was clean, well stocked and had beautiful views of the lake and city. It had everything we needed and more. We loved all the fresh raspberries and grapes growing on the property. We did not have a car so we walked into town (be prepared for lots of stairs!) and used the funicular and buses. We also ate and shopped at the local Italian restaurant and the bakery which were both wonderful. Locarno is beautiful! The owners provided perfect instructions for entering the unit and provided a lot of information for things to do and hikes nearby. The kitchen was well stocked, bathroom was clean and roomy.
