Positive: I have been living in Tanzania for a year, and I have never received such a warm and genuine welcome. The staff at Pangani Cliffs Lodge make you feel at home in the smallest details: your name beautifully written on the welcome board at reception, their readiness to meet any need, their kindness, and the care they put into every little thing. Everything was simply outstanding. The lodge is set in the heart of nature, with direct access to both a beautiful pool and an unspoiled beach. The food is delicious, the cleanliness is impeccable, and every corner of the property feels thoughtfully designed. I had mentioned to the staff that it would be my husband’s birthday and simply asked for a small candle. Instead, they surprised us with heartfelt birthday songs from the entire team and a personalized cake—such a touching and unforgettable gesture. From the breathtaking views to the warm smiles that greet you every day, Pangani Cliffs Lodge is truly a piece of paradise. We left with our hearts full, and I sincerely hope to return soon.

Positive: We had a wonderful stay at Pangani Cliffs! The staff and managers went above and beyond to make us feel truly welcome and cared for. The food was outstanding, every day brought a new dish prepared with fresh, locally sourced ingredients. They also arranged a fantastic boat trip to Maziwe Island, where we had a great time. We loved exploring the reef at low tide, unwinding by the pool, and enjoying delicious cocktails with a breathtaking ocean view. I would highly recommend spending at least 2-3 days here, as there are plenty of activities to enjoy and discover. 😍

Positive: Pangani Cliffs Lodge is simply a dream location. The main attraction is the omnipresent Indian Ocean, which can be enjoyed around the clock from various seating and sunbathing areas thanks to careful design. What makes this accommodation really stunning is the incredibly warm, thoughtful and yet relaxed and unobtrusive staff. The friendly owners Wilmke and Ricardo, manager Rama and all the staff, such as Samuel and Ambrose, really do everything for the well-being of their guests. What a wonderful luxury to have a tray of tea and coffee on the terrace outside your room at sunrise, decorated with fresh flowers from the wonderful garden! I could go on for pages about the beauty of the place and the grounds, as well as the extraordinary, just too loving hospitality. Simply unique. Next time I will stay longer than two days and nights. Thank you, everybody!

Positive: We were upgraded to a bungalow and it was stunning! Spacious and beautifully decorated, clean and well-appointed. The bed and linens were comfortable and the shower had excellent hot water. Coffee and tea were delivered to our patio each morning and the turndown service was exceptional. The food was delicious and always served with a smile. WiFi in the common area was strong and the location is directly on the beach. Our hosts could not have been more welcoming! The ferry was not working on our departure day, and they gave us a ride to town and helped us get a boat across. We were able to join him for a walk thru the village while he shopped in the market- an incredible experience! We loved staying here!
Negative: Our bungalow was open-air, so critters can get inside. Very weak WiFi signal in our room.

Positive: Wonderful little secluded spot on the cliffs outside of Pangani. I visited during low season and was the only guest. I was treated like a king. Rama, the manager, made sure I was comfortable and happy.
Negative: It's hard to get to, Pangani is a bit out of the way. I drove and 4wd is a must.

Positive: We had the pleasure of staying at The Cliffs Lodge in Pangani and it was an absolutely exceptional experience. The lodge offers a peaceful and serene environment that immediately makes you feel at home. With only a few rooms, it provides an intimate and private experience, which makes the whole atmosphere incredibly charming and personal. The owners, a lovely Dutch couple, are some of the warmest and most engaging hosts I've ever encountered. They genuinely care about their guests and are always ready to share fascinating stories about their lives and insights in the Tanzanian life. The staff are also incredibly attentive and dedicated, always ensuring that every need is met with a smile. The level of care and service is truly remarkable and adds so much to the overall experience. The food was absolutely delicious – fresh, flavorful, and authentic. You can tell that a lot of thought and care goes into every dish. The Cliffs Lodge is the perfect getaway for those wanting to escape the hustle and bustle and experience something truly special. I can't recommend it highly enough!

Positive: This is a beautiful hideaway at the coast. Wip and Roberto - thanks a lot for your hospitality! We stayed in one of the bungalows, imagine to have a shower under the stars. Everything is of selected taste, and the cuisine excellent. The personal is very attentive. There a many lovely places to sit, relax and watch the everchanging sea. A little wild beach surprised us, try the pools during low tide.
