A cozy cabin complete with wifi, TV, electricity & the comforts of home with a gorgeous view of the Blue Ridge Mountains. You will fall in love with the Bearwallow Mountain! ❤️ We have events sometimes and property maintenance.

The space
Our cabin is fully furnished and equipped with everything to make you feel comfortable and at home. There is one king bedroom with adjoining bathroom and shower, as well as a loft with a queen-size bed. Kitchen has gas stove, oven, fridge, microwave, coffee pot, toaster and all cooking utensils. Family room has a gas log "fireplace" to make it extra cozy. The dining room, living room and back deck have gorgeous views of the Blue Ridge Mountains. We have recently added a beautiful outdoor area with fireplace and seatings for BBQing.
With the cabin rental, guests have access to all parts of the cabin and BBQ area. We have 100 acres of beautiful property to enjoy however, some areas (away from the cabin) are used for events*, which are usually scheduled in advance. We also have landscaping people come up from time to time to maintain the property, but not everyday of course! :) *Events are usually small elopements that last 2-4hrs during the daytime.
Interaction with guests
We have a lockbox and code system so you can easily check into the cabin after 3pm. We can answer any questions you might have via Airbnb. We do have a camper on the property (at a good distance from the cabin) during summer. We don't live there, but we use it occasionally when the cabin is rented. We'll usually give you a heads up when we're around.
Other things to note:
Absolutely NO PETS! No exceptions.
Home includes 1 king bedroom, 1 loft with queen bed. 1 bath with shower. A full kitchen with gas stove, oven, dishwasher and fridge. Fully efficient kitchen includes microwave, coffee pot, toaster. Pots, pans and dishes included. Family room is open to dinning area and kitchen and looks over the mountain ranges. Gas fireplace provides warmth. Bathroom heater and additional electric heaters provided. There are fans for hot days as there is no need for A/C (trust us). It's usually 10-15 degrees cooler up there. Home also includes a back deck and beautiful outdoor area with fireplace+bbq set and seating. Bearwallow Mountain is rich in history - this property has been visited by generations since the 50's. *** Cabin sits on 100 acres.. you won't believe the views!

Summary: We loved our stay! We were lucky enough to have perfect weather to enjoy the incredible views. Location was gorgeous & the cabin was comfortable, clean, and had everything we needed for our stay. 10/10 would recommend.

Summary: NO A/C: this did not effect rating as they disclosed but wanted it said first. House built in the 2000s with no A/C. The Good: The view is spectacular. House is clean and comfortable. Very well stocked. We love the location. You are 30 mins outside of town for some privacy (Yeah Right!) The Bad- NO A/C- disclosed but at bottom of listing Arrive at 6- owners still on property for at least 45 mins after arrival. House is hot and stuffy- at least 80 degrees. Wasp nests on porch. The UGLY Notify us that they are going to mow 5 minutes before showing up. Move an RV on property- in view of house (3 min walk away door to door) with no notice (property is 100 acres). Entered basement to store items with no notice. Owners on property 3 times in 2 days. We packed up and left the next morning cutting our vacation 2 days short. Guess it was too much to think that if you rented a house on 100 acres that you might actually get some privacy. *Really read the description*

Summary: Property has large deck with amazing views of the mountains to the west with great sunsets, very peaceful and secluded, saw many deer and wild turkey. Property was very clean as well. It is a bit of a drive to get to the there from town but worth it.

Summary: The property was perfect for those looking for a secluded getaway and provided a quiet mountain cabin with beautiful views. Summary: We were stunned by the beauty of all the views in the cabin. Magical, incredible, unbelievable views from every window. The cabin is furnished beautifully...it even snowed which made it more fun❤️I would go back in heartbeat!!!! Owners were awesome to work with.

Summary: We arrived at the cabin and the fireplace was not working, but the owner quickly resolved the matter with space heaters until the fireplace was repaired. The cabin was nicely appointed and the owners were very responsive. The views were breathtaking and we even saw deer playing and grazing in the meadow. The weather was great with the exception of one day where the wind chill was absolutely frigid. We had preordered ham from Honey Baked Ham in Hendersonville and Thanksgiving dinner from Seasons in Flat Rock. Kitchen was well equipped to handle everything we needed. Generally, we enjoyed our Thanksgiving there.
