Positive: This was the second time that we have visited this location. Indeed we were here for New Year's of 2024 and decided to come again to spend the new year on 1 January 2025. Staff are extremely helpful and food is to die for.

Positive: Gorgeous views, large pool with heaps of outdoor seating options to relax. The lovely pets and animals. The Valle Dell' Anapo walks are a must. Basic but large rooms. Their home-made pasta dishes!
Negative: Wifi is best outside the room eg the restaurant('s terrace). Or do some swimming, reading, journal writing, napping etc. instead.

Positive: Typical Agriturismo with exceptional views and ambient. Good sized pool with mountain views. The Pasta (which is homemade I believe) was Amazing. Parking close to rooms and convenient. Pantalica is the typical Agri like most of the other Agriturismos in Sicily, with basic commodities and one has to keep this in mind to avoid disappointment. Nothing beats that morning quietness and view. Take a travelling/portable kettle and your favourite brew with you and wake up early to enjoy the peace and quiet and the baby kittens playing together, amazing and priceless. Visit the river for a swim, it's a must. Just a short drive and then a short walk away from Agri, parking bit difficult but still worth going, one of the staff (Lady with beautiful smile) helped us find the place offering directions and map, super sweet of her. Amazing experience. If only they would upgrade the food and bathrooms a bit and maybe grow some fresh produce like other Agris and offer them for say breakfast, lunch or dinner it would be exceptional. There is so much potential, shame as some fresh olive oil and home made bread could go a long way to make this place a better visit. It's pet friendly as saw a lady with a rabbit so good to keep in mind. We might visit again but we got the feeling that the place is run by too many hands and not much enthusiasm which is a shame considering the potential they have. If they grew some olive and citrus trees near the stables one could do so much with produce, shame really as a little more effort could go a long way. Staff helpful when contacted to locate a pharmacy before we arrived and always answered immediately. So on the whole we were satisfied however we only stayed 2 nights, doubt we would ever go for more than 3 or 4 nights if we were ever to return. Free flowing water and fresh croissants for breakfast were great, toast with ham and cheese not bad ,but breakfast on the poor side especially the bread. Dinner menu definitely needs work.
Negative: No AC in bedroom with double bed so we had to sleep in the room with 2 single beds which was fine but for anyone traveling in August with say kids or if one needs to use both main bedroom and the room with single beds (if travelling party of 4) best to keep this in mind as those using room with double bed will have NO AC, although our friends and kids managed to sleep with fan (we had no fan in our room and opted to sleep on singles near AC). We never managed to connect to Wifi, but then again not a bad idea to switch off a bit from all the social media and enjoy the ambient. The food wasn't too great, except for the Pasta which was exceptional so careful what you choose, we expected a bit more choice say some cold cuts and cheeses and some home made bread or more typical sicilian produce, such as some platters, olive oil, home made lemonade, or a piece of meat to be available, but unfortunately we were a bit disappointed. But again the pasta was super amazing (we had pasta for dinner and again for lunch, portions bit small) and the freshly baked croissants were lovely in the morning thumbs up to the lady chef. The fridge needed a good clean but still convenient to keep drinks cold. We took the cooking class but time agreed on was changed so the plan we had for our day was a bit mixed up then and tbh I doubt they hold many cooking classes because it felt disorganized and a bit forced, set up could have been better and more prepared. When we ordered some coffees they turned up cold. Breakfast not too bad but boiled eggs were placed outside on tables at 8am if not before and we went for breakfast at 9.30am and not keen on eating eggs which had been placed outside for so long in that heat, however the next day we asked for fried eggs and had no issues. Horse riding is advertised yet was not offered and the only activity we were offered (except for the forced cooking class) was a swim in the river close by, which was however amazing and not to be missed.
