Positive: The place is tranquil, offering a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. The beach is impeccable, with an amazing view of Le Morne mountain, making it truly special. The hotel service was outstanding and exemplary – the staff consistently exceeded expectations and made our stay memorable. There are no crowds, so the beach feels very private and intimate. You can even see colourful fish swimming in the sea close to the stones. The food was also very good. Overall, a wonderful stay that I would highly recommend.
Negative: Nothing

Positive: Dear Paradis Beachcomber Team, I’m writing to extend my deepest gratitude for the truly unforgettable experience I had during my recent stay at your beautiful resort. It was my very first time visiting Mauritius, and I can confidently say it exceeded every expectation—thanks to your outstanding hospitality. A special thank you to Mr. Jimmy and Mr. Poliah for making me feel so genuinely welcomed from the moment I arrived. Your warm smiles and kind attention made a world of difference and added a personal touch that I will always remember. I would also like to extend my heartfelt appreciation to Chef Valencia. Every meal was a masterpiece! The flavors, presentation, and attention to detail were phenomenal. Dining at the resort was a highlight of my stay, and I found myself looking forward to each meal with excitement. The people of Mauritius are incredibly warm and kind, and this trip—coinciding with my birthday—became extra special because of the love and joy I felt all around me. I left not only with beautiful memories but with a deep appreciation for the Mauritian spirit of hospitality. Thank you once again for everything. I’m already looking forward to returning someday soon. Warmest regards, Hadeel

Positive: The location is magnificent, right on the Morne with beautiful views. It makes is very special and give a sense of paradise. The place was very clean, the room was spotless and the hotel as well as its facilities are well maintained. The staff is constantly cleaning the garden, the beach. We stayed at the Paradis Beachfront room, direct access to the ocean, beautiful views (2nd floor) but the room lacked of design, the furniture were basic and the lighting bright like in an hospital - it was a bit impersonal. There is two restaurants à la carte on site, beautifully designed, very good food and selection of wine. The service was impeccable.
Negative: We were on half-board (breakfast-dinner) the food at the buffet was tasteless and the way it is organized is not appealing. The coffee (cappuccino) is from an automatic machine and does not taste good. The restaurant room where the buffet is, is old and dark which does not give you the pampering experience. We found out that the Zest (one of the à la carte restaurant) is serving breakfast too and we got a way better experience in term of service even if food should be improved. We were very disappointed of the food at buffet (breakfast and dinner) and it did not match the level of 5 stars and the luxury feeling the hotel claim to be at or the price we paid per night. We stayed at the Lux* on the island and definitely the food there is at another level. The hotel is family friendly, there were a lot of families with kids, however, it felt that the hotel was more welcoming families than people without kids. There were no dedicated area for adults. It would be good to have a dedicated place for adult for breakfast for example or for beach access. One day we were relaxing on the beach by our room, we were the only one there. The kids club brought the kids (20+) on the space next to us to build sand castle, they could have gone anywhere else, basically the beach was empty but they stayed next to us, forcing us to move on the other side to enjoy our relaxing time. I found it very disappointing especially for the standing the hotel and for the price paid.
Summary: Paradise location with room for improvement to match price paid

Positive: The location, part of staff was very nice, the possibility to try different activities
Negative: Things to improve: - give a warm welcome like other hotels in Mauritius; - have a 5 stars level of services and cure of the details, for instance the second night (the last one): we didn’t even get water in the room and we had to call them; they took the bath towel without replacing it; nothing was like the previous night. It felt like they already did the check-out for us; - quality of the food was not always like 5 stars hotel; - not that much variety for breakfast as other 5 stars hotels in Mauritius; - having only one swimming pool, full of children (not peaceful); - no umbrella in the room in the rainy season; - we booked the honeymoon room but we didn’t see what was different from a normal room. For instance in another hotel in Mauritius we received a bottle of wine, a cake, a nice hand-written me message and the bedroom decorated.

Positive: From the moment we arrived, Paradis Beachcomber exceeded every expectation. We were warmly welcomed with a complimentary room upgrade, an incredible gesture that set the tone for the rest of our stay. The room was immaculate, beautifully appointed, and offered breathtaking views. Every detail, from the décor to the amenities in the room reflected thoughtful attention and care. The staff were genuinely warm and attentive, always ready with a smile and a helping hand. And the breakfast? Simply phenomenal, fresh, varied, and served with an ocean breeze. A truly exceptional experience from start to finish.

Positive: The beach, water, weather, and restaurants were amazing !!! The staff at the restaurants were an absolute delight. Best beaches and not as much wind at this location.
Negative: Certain of the staff at the reception desk were a bit patronising, for no apparent reason… The one’s that showed us out, were much more friendly… and the waiters were also much more friendly and down to earth. You should add t’s & c’s to your website, because certain things are advertised as complementary, however, are subjected to occasions (not specified in the app or website). Also, when we asked about this, we got the same patronising attitude…just for asking.
Summary: Great beaches !!!
