Two large covered decks out front and back make for great outdoor living space. Two outdoor dining tables, outdoor rattan furniture, day bed, and sun loungers.
The master bedroom looks out onto the water, so you're waking up to a view of the ocean.
The second bedroom contains a queen-sized bed
A beautiful kitchen has all the latest technology and appliances. The main house contains 3x heatpumps/aircon units one in each bedroom plus living/kitchen.
Relax in the lounge with Fujitsu heat pump/air con and choose from looking at the fantastic sea view or watch Netflix on the 65" Samsung Smart LED TV with Sky TV.
Outside you will find two sleepouts, one containing a king-sized bed and the other a queen along with drawers, etc.
Excellent spa pool looking out to Tutukaka and the Poor Knights (extra costs DO apply)
This place is truly remarkable, hence why we call it Pataua Fiji :)
It is very well equipped and is 5 steps from the beach precisely as you can see in photos—half an hour's drive from Whangarei. Two surf beaches, ten minutes walk away.

Summary: The back doors open right to views and the water. Bathroom and kitchen are modern and clean, this is a great property for a vacation. The host responded to my questions and was very helpful.

Summary: The bach an location is just wonderful. Couldnt ask for more, enjoyed countless walks with my little dog, who just loved it here. The views are outstanding, and Cassie was soo helpful, asking every question promptly and helpfully. Will certainly be back. Thankyou for sharing your beautifully renovated bach with the public. Maybe the dream for me will become a reality !

Summary: enjoyed the stay but your bathroom cleaning eg mould and maintenance is letting you down. The big bbq the knobs are stuck so won’t ignite, outdoors hand held shower head didn’t work , vacumn didn’t work but despite the rain we had a lovely time

Summary: Great view and position right by the water. Main house not large but very nice and well equipped. Recommend leaving some space in the kitchen cupboards for guests to leave their groceries.

Summary: After renting an alternative Pataua Bach for the last 12 years we were dissapointed when the owners sold up. Not wanting to loose our annual tradition we looked for another and Pataua Fiji did not dissapoint. In fact every corner of the way from booking to checkign in and even while we were there we were impressed with the entire process and the incredible fitout which has everything you need from a large fridge to filtered chilled and boiling water on tap. As usual there were a few small issues which were quickly rectified by the owner, who throughout the booking process was incredibly flexible especially after some unexpected date changes on our side.
