Positive: Everything is lovely. So beautiful and cosy and everything you need has been thought of. Unfortunately a semi-cyclone passed through so made for a few wild windy nights! Gorgeous location and such a tranquil spot. My daughter loved the ice-creams left for us in the freezer, thanks :)

Positive: Love the fact even tho the owner Guy was on the property we had our own private area as we were lower. The great thing is Guy was a great person and we needed to stay an extra and we ask if it was ok to add another night he went above and beyond to make sure we got the extra. He always answered the phone and said if you need anything at all to let him know. He wanted to make sure we were comfortable and had what we needed. It was about 30mins away from whangarei town centre but honestly it didn't feel long as when you were driving along you had the beautiful scenery to look at. Personally we like being away from the city as we had big days and when we got back we could lay back and embrace the scenery and what whangarei heads have to offer. Thankyou Guy for everything when we are back up here I'm sure to book if the cabin is available at the time. And he was fine with our black labrador puppy as long as pick up after him and make sure no damage to property which was fine with us 10 out 10 on Sandance Cabin 😊
Negative: The only i could suggest is maybe a little microwave as some people have ready meals they want to quickly heat something up. Honestly you had everything else in the cabin.
Summary: Fantastic definitely would come back.

Positive: The giant windows were my absolute fave, but the entire cabin inside and out was beautiful , the views were stunning, shower was perfect, kitchen had absolutely everything we needed for our dinner and was organized beautifully. We took our projector, even though we thought there wouldn't be a wall to use it on, but the (electric) blinds on the big window was literally the perfect size for a giant movie screen! Perfecttt. Will definitely be staying again

Positive: The cottage is very cosy and situated in a very peaceful quiet spot. We enjoyed the view and watching the birds in the big tree outside. It is very private, but we also had the opportunity to chat with the very friendly and helpful owner, who even shared her homegrown bananas with us. We'd happily come again.
