Shangrila is a beachfront gated development on the best piece of property in the Marina. We are located in Tower 3 which provides you with the best panoramic view of the Banderas Bay. Upon entering the condo from the private elevator, you will be drawn to the spacious kitchen area and then dazzled by the view as you make your way through the dining and living room areas. Upon stepping out to the extra large balcony, guests are soothed by the lush vista before them: mountains, deep blue ocean, and downtown Puerto Vallarta. The large balcony provides a view from the master bedroom, guest bedroom, and living room. Our sixth floor middle unit home is 2450 square feet of of luxurious living space. In the master bedroom, a king size bed awaits; the 2nd bedroom has 2 queen size beds and the 3rd bedroom has 2 single beds (this room is a separate smaller room which is right across the hall). We are located 5 minutes from the airport.
The sleek kitchen offers stainless steel appliances and granite counters. Smooth marble floors run throughout the entire unit. A large infinity pool surrounded with Palapas and a swim up pool bar awaits you. We have 3 ceiling fans for you comfort as well as air conditioning. Normally, from December until March you will not need AC, however, if you would like AC you will receive 20khw per day at no charge . Anything above that you will be charged the current electrical rate. (this charge will only apply if AC is requested). For 28 day bookings and longer you will charged for electricity consumption. It is recommended to have Air Conditioning from May until mid November. We are hoping to conserve energy by keeping the doors closed when using Air Conditioning and turning off lights when not in the condominium.
Minimum age for rental when not accompanied by an adult is 24.
Shangrila has a fully equipped gym with weights, aerobic equipment, steam room, use of kayaks and massage services. We have a pool side restaurant and swim up bar as well as beach service under your palapa. There is 2 tennis courts with lights on site. In our Lobby there is a mini library, computer center and concierge service. Across the street there is a Championship Golf Course.
Within walking distance there is grocery stores. Also with a short taxi ride or uber you can shop at Walmart, Sam's Club, Costco or La Comer. Also on the same property as Walmart there is a large shopping Mall.
Across the street from Shangrila, the Marina is located where you can enjoy many services as well as a variety of restaurants. Also there are jewelry stores, hair salons, bakeries and coffee shops.

Summary: Very convenient location close to the Marina (two min walk). We primarily just hung out by the pool and ate at the grill by the pool for lunches (closes at 5pm and fairly priced). Dinners we mostly made in the kitchen (hint: Uber eats delivers groceries, as does Costco and a couple others). Pool was amazing with the kids and condo had a wonderful view over the development and the ocean. Host had great communication and was lovely to deal with.Would certainly come back.

Summary: Our one-week vacation in Puerto Vallarta was transformed into a dream getaway during our stay at Frank's condo. This splendid retreat offers not only everything one could need, but so much more, making it a paradise within paradise. The condo is incredibly spacious, comfortably accommodating our party of five with room to spare. A highlight many guests, including us, have enjoyed is the private elevator that opens directly into the apartment—a touch of luxury that enhances the entire experience. The condo features two expansive bedrooms, and an additional room with its own shower and separate entrance, which was perfect for our 24-year-old son, providing privacy and convenience. One of the standout features is the vast balcony that offers breathtaking views of the pool and the majestic ocean beyond. We spent numerous blissful hours by what is undoubtedly the largest pool I've ever seen, complemented by impeccable service. Almost daily, we indulged in delightful lunches and refreshing drinks poolside. Our evenings were spent exploring the vibrant Marina area, where we discovered culinary gems every night. Of note, I highly recommend dining at La Terrazza di Roma, Natureza Marina for lazy late breakfasts, and Victor's Place Cafe Tacuba for its lively atmosphere. Although there were plentiful options for excursions, we found ourselves perfectly content to soak up the sun and enjoy the serene beach and pool. Summary: The pictures don’t do it justice! The patio is huge, the condo is beautiful, the pool is amazing, the beach is private. Beautiful sunsets!The restaurant by the pool is reasonably priced with great food for breakfast and lunch! The restaurants near by at marina are excellent. We felt very safe and it was quiet which we liked! Frank was very easy to work with! 10/10 recommend!

Summary: There's a reason why this listing receives ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️... Great communication between you and the owner. Excellent location. The condo. More than you can expect. Everything, furniture, beds, bedding are on the newer side. Spotless and clean! The condo is located within the marina and mins away from fine dining and entertainment. If you are looking for a super private condo, with all amenities, great pool, excellent on-site restaurant, gym this is the place.

Summary: We had a fantastic stay at Frank's condo in the Shangri-La property! Frank was easy to work with and helpful with suggestions on places to eat in town and at the marina. We were grateful to try a few new places that are now favorites! We love being so close to the marina with so many choices for great restaurants. And the Shangri-La property is really top notch. It has to be among the best swimming pools in all of Puerto Vallarta or anywhere for that matter, but it's never too busy - you never have to go reserve a chair - it didn't matter what time of day, we always had our choice of perfect places to sit and enjoy the pool and sun. Frank's place is clean, well-furnished, roomy and the balcony is huge. It has chairs to lounge on and a nice table to sit and enjoy the view for breakfast and in the evening as the lights of the city come on - honestly one of our favorite times seeing that amazing view of the ocean, bay and city . Beds were very comfortable. Nice bathrooms and showers. We played games around the table in the living room. The concierge arranged taxis when we went out. Soriana super market is a 5 minute taxi drive away with a good selection of food. We ate out more than half the time but also used the appliances at other times. Everything worked flawlessly. This was our third time at the Shangri-La and our first at Frank's place. We'd go back to both in a heartbeat and hope to again before very long. Thanks Frank for a great time!
