Positive: The view of the mountains on one side and the bay on the other is absolutely extraordinary. So were the beautiful sounds of the birds who live there! Loved the chickens & chicks & roosters running freely! Also loved the banana bread!!

Negative: The stairs leading up to our room should also have a side way to exit. Also They should offer real milk (s) to go with the coffee and tea verses the plastic non dairy creamers.

Summary: This is a serene slice of Paradise to stay here truly living up to its name!

The scenery is definitely a highlight — the bay and mountain views are stunning, and the area feels calm and uncrowded. There are also some nice amenities like the pool, hot tub, and occasional activities.

Negative: However, there are quite a few downsides that impacted our stay. The property is very far from most attractions, making it inconvenient if you plan to explore the island. The rooms and bathrooms feel outdated and could use significant improvement in both maintenance and cleanliness. Noise was also an issue — we could clearly hear neighbors and sounds from above, which made it less relaxing than expected. Parking is limited and need to pay for it. Overall, the place doesn’t fully match the expectations set by the price and photos. Positive: Super little resort with stunning views of the mountain ranges and rainforest. Lots of bird life and very peaceful. Get a waterside cottage if you can for those amazing views from a private deck. Excellent customer service, always responded to my messages almost immediately.

Negative: Great size cottage, very clean, but it was rather dated. The interiors could do with some updating. But that didn't spoil our enjoyment of this lovely resort.
