Summary: This home suited our family really well, with the beach right in your own back yard! It is mostly well appointed, some of the bed linens really should be replaced and the organization of cupboards in the kitchen were a mess! The bedroom arrangements are challenging with little ones as the single beds are not in the main house. We wish we had bought a baby monitor with us but we made it work. While it was nice to be "unplugged" from the world it was a little concerning that we would not have had a way to contact emergency services should we have needed to. Taking water with you is a must and because of Covid can be difficult to obtain in the local shops. There is plenty of room for the children to play and having the beach so close especially with Covid made everyone feel quite safe. The water is very shallow again great for younger kids. There is a great fire pit and 2 decks to sit and relax on. The location is good for day trips too. We would definitely go back and would recommend to those who want a vacation close to amenities but with a feeling of away from it all. Thank you for sharing your home!

Summary: We stayed Saturday July 4- Saturday July 11. We had our 3 adult sons with one daughter in law and our 1 year old granddaughter. We enjoyed the private beach and use of both cottages. Plenty of room for everyone. Lots of board games, movies bon fires, card games, beach time, hiking nearby trail heads, eating white fish at a local pub, getting ice cream in town, a trip to Mackinac Island and a parasailing expedition. The neighbors were all very friendly. The people to the right did a lot of fireworks which our kids enjoyed. They also let us use their floatation devices. The cottage was well equipped with everything we needed for preparing large family meals with a large kitchen table that fit everyone. We got pasties for dinner one night and BC Pizza another night. Had delicious white fish and strawberry daiquiris at Mackinac Grille Waterfront in St Ignace. The first day there we saw a moose in the water. It was amazing!! There is a neighborhood dog named Tag thats very sweet that visited us daily and played with our granddaughter. He is a playful 9 month old Labrador that loves to swim. The neighbors to the right have a lot of guests and a lot of activities that go on sometimes late into the night. We were NOT bothered by it at all as they were VERY nice, and basically it was just music. Its summertime/vacation time on a lake over 4th of July weekend/week so its to be expected. Nothing the noise of a good box fan cant block out. Our 1 year old granddaughter was NOT awoken by it at all. We had a lively time and we will be back. Thank you!!

Summary: Positive experience, nothing owners could do about nitwits to the Northwest party and motorcycle running at 11:30 pm, the last night and others shooting off fireworks mortars 11:15 - 11:30 pm. Thanks for renting your facility. GREAT TIME!!!!

Summary: We loved having a bunkhouse for the families and a quiet house for the grandparents. Loved the short walk to the beach and all the magnificent shore birds. Proximity to a ton of fun activities is a prime feature, although just hanging out at the house was fine, too. All these positives far outweigh the funky tap water and noise from traffic on US 2. Neighbors are close, but very friendly and accommodating.

Summary: Our family had a great time, we had great weather and a wonderful beach. Bedrooms upstairs in main house are great, windows open at night with cool breeze, and the best view ever of the lake. Everything you need is there (except washer and dryer). Would stay again....
