Welcome to Paradise Point
From the moment you turn off Squilax-Anglemont Road in Celista, BC, you’ll be captivated by the tranquility of all that lies before you. Stress and tension will disappear as you follow the road by the two shaded RV pads to your left and onto the flat parking space in front of the house. The expansive, lush green lawn, just beyond, will spark ideas for memory making as you quickly unpack your vehicle and carry your belongings into the spacious four bedroom, three bath home.
You’ll be completely drawn in to begin your relaxing vacation when you see the stunning lake view through the wall of windows in the great room. The vaulted ceilings in the great room and a spacious outdoor patio give a feeling of openness and comfort all at the same time. With mere steps between the ample kitchen and comfy couches, your days can start in quiet reflection as you sip your tea or coffee, drinking in your view of the lake.
If you feel like some friendly competition, there’s a pool table, ping pong table and games area downstairs or you can take it outside for an impromptu soccer match or volleyball game on the lawn. The many trails nearby offer a great alternative if you want to enjoy the beauty of the trees. With the convenience store right next door, you never have to go far for anything!
Once at water’s edge, with the private dock and mooring buoy before you, Copper Island can be seen to your right. Lounge chairs are provided so you can comfortably stretch out for watching the sunrise and sunset (thanks to our southern exposure!) or for your afternoon siesta. While soaking in the famous Shuswap sun you’ll be lulled to sleep by the sweet sounds of summer.

Summary: We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at your beautiful cottage. We loved being right on the lake and made good use of the kayaks and paddle boards and enjoyed a fire on the beach, played lots of pool, and loved the hammocks too! There were more than enough dishes and pots and pans and basic spices to cook meals. It was a bit of a surprise when we got the welcome email before our stay, telling us we had to provide bed sheets and bath/shower towels. I understand it helps to turn over the property more quickly for the next guests but it is a bit inconvenient for people who are traveling a long distance in an already full car or for folks who may be flying. May want to note this in the listing to give folks more advance notice? The host was very quick to respond about a few small issues on our arrival and and was super prompt, welcoming and helpful in responding to messages during our booking process. Overall, we had a fabulous, relaxing stay and made some great memories. Would definitely come back again!

Summary: Great place! Stayed with 8 mom friends for a 40th birthday it had so much space the yard and beach were amazing! I would definitely go again and bring my entire family.

Summary: Linen requirements, check in process,no code given, had to contact manager to get code after check in, only one tea towel, cleanliness of dishes(we felt we had to clean before use), security camera pointing in upper floor, too much work to be done prior to check out leaving no time to enjoy the property, no cable vision,overall value for cost questionable.

Summary: Truly a beautiful place! The house was clean and had everything we needed for a great week with family. Beautiful waterfront and beach area that the kids swam in daily. We definitely plan to return!

Summary: We loved our three nights here in September. The property was beautiful and our toddlers loved the grassy lawn for soccer, and the beach for swimming. They were pleasantly surprised by the new toys and bookshelf of kids books. A great spot.

Summary: What a slice of heaven. This location is great for large family gatherings. There were 7 adults and 2 babies and the space was large enough. The kitchen is set up nicely and all the small kitchen applicances you would need are there. The bedrooms are all nicely sized and the beds are comfortable. Now moving onto the outdoor space... wow! Yes the beach is rocky but the dock is fantastic and the water is clean. The kayaks, paddleboards and pedal boat are in good condition and were used multiple times a day. Such a nice addition to our stay. There was a shaded area down at the beach which allowed our babies to safely enjoy the outdoors. We all had a great time at Paradise Point and would recommend it to those looking for a family getaway.

Summary: We had an amazing family vacation here! The property has an amazingly large yard, (perfect for young children to play on), and the house is set up perfectly for various age groups, which we really appreciated. The kitchen is stocked with almost everything you could possibly need, and there is lots of seating for large family meals. While the beach is a bit rocky, the fantastic dock makes up for it, and the spent all day jumping off of it. This was a fantastic venue, the owners were great to communicate/deal with, and we had a wonderful time.
