Positive: For a family with older children this is a perfect place to stay in Cordoba. The bus nr 13 takes 20 minutes to drop you off at the city center and it runs every 30 minutes. Before or after a walk around the old beautiful town there is the big swimming pool in the hotel garden to relax and cool down. The rooms are big and comfortable. Personnel is very friendly. There was a policy of not bringing drinks or food in the hotel, which is fine and understandable, but with temperatures around 40 degrees Celsius only a small bottle of water in the mini bar was not enough at all. Fortunately there is a Mercadona supermercado at 5 minutes walking distance.

Negative: Huge array of breakfast cakes and pastries - all extremely stale not nice to eat. Breakfast generally below the standard one might expect.

Positive: The view from our room and the entire hotel was stunning.
Negative: I can’t think of anything. There was renovation work happening in the hotel but I didn’t really notice it. Beautiful parador made better by the helpful and friendly staff.

Positive: It is a nice building, modern, from the 50s? Probably needs basic upgrades. The gardens are beautiful. It is quiet. Food is food, like all Paradores.
Negative: Most staff very nice, but we noticed (here and other hotels) that staff seems a bit overworked (end of the Covid era cycle maybe. We noticed this in other countries as well).
