Negative: The unit was smelly and there was glass in the hot tub that I cut my foot on.

Positive: Everything about the property was fantastic. Good use of indoor space, all the common spaces were well thought out. The unit had everything you could want. The owners were kind and very responsive. There were deer on the property that came right up to you. The units are all spaced out in a very thoughtful way, so you would get a glimpse of people here and there, but the outdoor space felt very private.
Negative: Booking.com's customer service was abysmal. Communications were poorly worded and confusing. They informed me of a rate change (increase, but that wasn't super clear. It sounded like they were offering a discount), the day before I was to arrive. Thankfully the owners overrode that and kept it at the original price. Booking.com did not include a pet fee and there was no place to add it, so I was charged for that after I arrived. Booking.com also sent me a checkout email a day early. The property was excellent, but booking.com made everything very, very stressful at a time of year that I really just needed peace. I would stay here again, but I would never use booking.com again
