Positive: The hotel is really nice and the perfect place to disconnect. It has a beautiful garden with a swimmingpool and a nice spa inside the hotel. The restaurant is really exceptional. The staff is really helpful
Negative: We booked a couple of massages and they were really terrible (but this could be circumstantial to the person giving the massage!) we told reception. The bed and the pillows were really uncomfortable
Summary: Incredible place to relax, great hotel with exceptional food!

Positive: - very clean, - very nice view, - attention to details. - Very good breakfast, - very friendly staff, - very clean (very clean!).
Negative: - elevator out of service (they've mentioned it before the trip!) but still, 3 floors up and down it's a lot. - beds are not my cup of tea (separate blankets and very very firm) - cleaning personnel (see part with very clean) a little bit to eager: 9h with a very loud vacuum cleaner, insisted on opening the door, etc.
Summary: Very nice, tourism like in the old days when they cared...

Positive: Overall was a good experience but not up to the expectations.
Negative: Spa was full of kids, it was not relaxing at all. The hotel was short on staff and every request was not taken very well. Some of the staff didn’t speak English.

Positive: Friendliness of staff, restaurant (both quality and service). Breakfasts are absolutely excellent. Hotel cleanliness is impeccable. The very cosy bar is open, with its fabulous view and welcoming barman. Indoor spa is luxurious and totally relaxing. (In summer there's also an open air swimming pool to enjoy, set in the lovely gardens!)
Negative: It would have been nice if the 2 submerged jets (at the end of the indoor pool) were working - very good for some physical swimming exercise!
Summary: A totally relaxing break in the beautiful Schwarzwald!

Positive: Rooms were quiet, beds very comfortable. Our waiter at breakfast was exceptionally friendly. Loved the outdoor pool.
Negative: Air conditioning in the room was too strong even on the lowest setting. Reception staff albeit helpful, was a little cold.
