You can't get any closer to the beach in this historic part of Pass a Grille! Retreat to your 2 bed/2 bath 30 steps from the beach after a day of catching sun rays and waves. The house relaxes you the moment you walk in with its Mexican tile and Dutch door. It has a true beach feeling with a mixture of reclaimed furniture. We have beach chairs, umbrellas, beach towels, coolers. Lounge on your Adirondacks on your front porch, and the intracoastal for fishing is just 4 houses away. Take advantage of the beautiful scenery and live in the place that locals frequent. Parking for one car included.
Short term rentals of less than 30 days are allowed in the historic section of Pass-a-Grille a limited number of times per year. If you are interested in a weekly rental, please reach out to see if your dates are possible.
We are also on Pass a Grille's Historic Home registry! We are honored to have this designation. The original part of the home was built in 1925 but is updated with all new stainless appliances, new hurricane windows and front door, 2 air conditioning systems (central air plus mini split), washer and dryer in unit, and flat screen tvs in each bedroom and living room. We were able to keep some of the historic features of the home like Mexican saltillo tile floors, Dutch door in the kitchen so you can open the top half to allow fresh air, ironing boards in the wall, and historic molding in the bedrooms.
Walk to Restaurants just 2 blocks away. Enjoy breakfast at the historic Seahorse Restaurant, open since 1938. Visit the rooftop at the Hurricane Bar and Grill or enjoy crab cakes at the Brass Monkey Restaurant or a gourmet meal at Grace or the Dewey.
This unit is on first floor, rear unit and there is one other rental unit (one bedroom/one bath) located up front. You share the porch area with that unit but have separate entrances. Owners live upstairs and have a separate entrance at rear of house. Legal licensed for daily rentals.

Summary: My son and I had a great time in Pass a grille! Cheryl and Hobe are perfect hosts and truly want your time to be great. We stayed in unit 2. The decor is perfect beach cottage and very comfortable. Dining service and beach time were first class. I will be back!

Summary: The beach cottage is in a perfect location, in a quiet neighborhood across the street from the beach. Great restaurants are just a block or two away. The property is well appointed with everything you need for the beach or for cooking a nice meal and relaxing at home. The house is cozy and nicely decorated and the beds are very comfortable. This place could not be more perfect and we were all a little teary eyed when we had to leave.

Summary: We (hubby and another couple) so enjoyed our five day stay in Pass-A-Grille in this cute two BR, two BA cottage. It was cozy and had everything we needed to enjoy a relaxed stay. We walked, we ate and drank well and enjoyed the beach. Lots of space and not too crowded. Cheryl the owner was helpful but not intrusive, giving us dining ideas and supplying fishing rods. We could not have asked for a better experience!

Summary: We had planned a week's vacation at another destination, and it was a complete disappointment. Luckily we found this spot, and it was available within a day of communicating with the owners. The owners stayed on the floors above, and had we not seen their precious pooch I would have never guessed anyone lived there. The house was gorgeous and had a very historic feel to it. We loved everything about the house-from the little game room (games provided) to the super comfortable beds. There is a fully equipped kitchen, and the coffee is provided! The beach is just a walk across the road, and the neighborhood is quiet and welcoming. Cheryl (the owner of this lovely spot) made an appearance to make sure we were enjoying our stay. Our experience here definitely made up for the rocky start of our vacation :)

Summary: We were very pleased with our stay. Cheryl is an excellent host--met us at the house and was very helpful with suggestions about places to go for meals and drinks. The location was great--with the beach right across the street, we put on the sunscreen and hit it right in after check-in! The house was well equipped with beach chairs and umbrella which made it a lot easier, as well. Bikes were provided so that we could explore a bit. Kitchen facilities made eating in a great option when we were too tired from "beaching it" to go out. The house is in a great area and there is a lot to explore beyond the beach in terms of sights. The Farmer's Market was worth the visit and offered some fun food options as well--loved that Cheryl could give us the inside scoop on it. Overall, a great place to stay!
