This traditional kiwi bach has been renovated to make the most of the beach front views. Two big ranchsliders bring the tranquillity of the ocean right into the lounge, and provide great flow onto the deck. A few steps away and you’re on the white sandy beach.
Pataua has everything – a beautiful beach, great waves for boogie boards and surfing, an estuary for safe swimming, great fishing, a boat ramp, a footbridge to jump off …
The bach comes equipped with TV, DVD, microwave, fridge/freezer, BBQ, dart board, table tennis table, 2 x kayaks, 3 x bikes, and toys for primary-age children.
Pataua North is about 30 minutes drive from Whangarei for all your shopping needs, and the store at the camp ground in Pataua South is open in the summer, with grocery essentials and ice creams!
Maximum of 5 guests.
NOTE: Under Kiwi bach tradition, you'll need to bring your own linen (towels/sheets/tea towels), and please clean the house and do the dishes before you leave.

Summary: Fantastic location, perfect for a summer beach holiday. Our family enjoyed every minute of our stay. Added bonus of table tennis and darts for the rainy day. Recommend to anyone wanting to visit the area.

Summary: Stunning location. Even if there was a bit of bad weather there were so many things to use, tv, ping pong table, a cupboard full of games and bikes. Steve was great at keeping in touch to make sure everything was running well x

Summary: Classic Kiwi bach. Sensational location; just walk off the property, onto the beach and into the surf. Cant ask for more than that. Master; Great king size bed with views straight down the coast. Combined kitchen, dining, lounge just perfect. Again all about the views whilst being clean and comfortable. The deck for drinks and bites gave us silvery evening moons and brilliant morning sunrises. Plenty of accomodation downstairs if needed. Communication and information from the owners also added to a seamless, very enjoyable, would stay again, stay.

Summary: Property is in a fantastic location, absolute beachfront. All amenities that you need are there, instructions on how to get everything set up are comprehensive and easy to understand. House is clean and tidy with a well equipped kitchen with all the appliances you will need. Lots of recreational equipment there, kayaks, Fishing rods, table tennis table, dart board etc. Great place for a family trip away, plenty to do with the beach right in front, great surfing and good swimming, jut need to keep an eye out for rips. We would recommend this to anyone looking for a relaxed escape from town.

Summary: What a wonderful bach! We loved our stay. The location was wonderful (three very lovely and different beaches all within walking distance), and the bach itself terrifically well equipped and set up for all comfort and adventure needs. 10/10.
