Summary: Paws Under The Pines exceeded our expectations! We have stayed in a lot of vacation rentals over the years on the coast, this was the first time we didn't have to pay an arm and a leg to bring our dogs with us! Not only that, but this property has a large fenced yard, a dog room, and other dog friendly amenities that really made us feel at home and that our dogs were actually welcome! Our senior dogs are both 13 now, the short 1-2 minute walk across the road to the beach was perfect for them. And the ramp off the back deck was perfect for our senior citizen pups! This was our first trip with our 8 month old baby, and the home was exceptionally clean (arguably cleaner than our own house!) so I had no reservations about letting him scoot around on the floor. The kitchen was well stocked, and hands down the best stocked coffee bar I've seen in a vacation rental! Beds and bedding were very comfortable. The owner was very kind and messaged us letting us know we could check in early which was so appreciated after our long drive. We highly recommend this rental for anyone looking for a quiet beach and a dog friendly clean house!

Summary: Group of 4 life-long friends enjoyed this great property on one of the sunniest 4 days at the coast. Our dachshunds truly loved exploring the backyard. The doggie treats and thoughtful ways our pups were welcomed was delightful. We enjoyed the well-stocked kitchen as we cooked dinner each night. We were able to have time together, surfing lessons and easy access to the beach close by to let pups run. Thank you for a lovely visit.

Summary: This place has so much going for it; a short walk to a quiet beach, a short drive to Pacific City, a large hot tub, a ping pong table, an arcade machine, a ton of "analog" games, and all the kitchen appliances you could hope for (and more). The yard is huge - plenty of room for corn hole, ladder ball, etc. It is by far the most complete and well thought out home we have stayed in, and the dogs thought so too!

Summary: Love love love Paws Under the Pines! We had a wonderful getaway and can’t wait to return. Our nosey 9yo rescue Jack Russell Terrorist gives this home 4 Paws Up- she loved having total yard freedom! So much that she didn’t want to come in, especially when the sun came out lol. Thank you for having a secure yard, just like we have at home, so we didn’t have to worry when she was out enjoying all the sniffs (and giving the neighbor’s dog a kiss through the fence). Super comfy beds, immaculately clean separate spaces to read, crochet, watch TV, or even paint, lounge on the deck, all just the break we needed. And the kitchen and coffee pantry is stocked to the brim! Looking forward to trying out the hot tub and arcade games on our next visit!

Summary: House is beautiful, game room with amazing old video games and ping pong when weather wasn't optimal. Hot tub on a chilly starlit night with sound of the ocean. Fenced yard, ramps for my tiny dogs made their stay safe and new smells galore.I have already booked again for the fall.

Summary: We LOVED the very dog welcoming house— from the food bowls to the dog-gelato— and for the humans THE COOKWARE ROCKED! Nice pans, sharp knives, stocked spice cabinet—extraordinary in our experience renting at the coast. Teens enjoyed the ping pong table, proximity to the beach and s’mores at the fire pit. Great spot— we look forward to our next visit!

Summary: We came back for a second visit and loved it just as much. We brought a friend and his two puppies. The dogs had the time of their lives and we had a wonderful time. Beds are so comfortable and kitchen has just about everything a person could need or want. We will definitely return. Thank you for sharing your adorable home with us.

Summary: We just finished enjoying a wonderful stay at Paws Under the Pines. After many decades of visits to different vacation rentals on the Oregon Coast, this experience was our best.5 favorite things for the humans: #1 The house, hot tub and outdoor grill are clean. #2 The kitchen is well-stocked plus has nice, functional appliances. #3 The beds are comfortable. #4 The beach is so close, beautiful and uncrowded. #4 The video game machine has old Atari games that made us feel young again. #5 The host contact was very responsive, thorough, professional and even made my special birthday request (a waffle maker) come true.5 favorite things for Eleanor the Dog: #1 A big fenced yard for unencumbered sniffing. #2 Wild rabbits. #3 Excellent beach for fast running. #4 Dog gelato in the freezer gifted by the host (Eleanor didn’t know she loves pumpkin cheddar dog gelato… she does). #5 Dog parents get happy at this vacation rental.
