Summary: Honestly, I wasn’t sure what to expect since I had never been to Block Island but my fiancé has and told me just fyi all the inns are just older..etc. Coming into the inn it was so beautifully done, so much character every which way you turned, and the breakfast in the morning was so quaint like something out of a movie. The ROOM was incredible! We got the suite (room 9) the largest room they had and let me tell you it was LARGE! The room was so clean and the whole place smelled so clean (I am very OCD so I notice those things) but even my fiancé mentioned how clean it smelled there! The bed was insanely comfortable I can’t even begin to tell you. We have stayed a lot of places and this bed by far took the cake! I’ve never slept better! Whole place was magical and I would 100% return and stay at Payne’s again! **pics are blurry bc all I got was a video so I screenshot what I could.

Summary: We enjoyed our visit to this clean, solid, accommodating inn. Lovely hosts run a charming place with a laid back vibe for a welcoming stay. Great spot with water views but it’s a mile walk or cab ride from Old Harbor ferry. (No Uber) Decent breakfast.

Summary: Block Island in the Fall is magical and the view from the backyard was magnificent. Check in was very quick and easy. Room was lovely with a comfortable bed and a small balcony. Great location - walking distance to town.

Summary: This was my first visit to Block Island and this property was one of the highlights of the trip. It was cute, clean, had gorgeous views and staff was welcoming. I was pleasantly surprised at the morning breakfast and enjoyed it while I took in the view! I enjoy walking so a huge perk for me was the walks I could get in to go shopping and sightseeing. Taxis were quick though if that's not a preference.

Summary: Staff was great. Free breakfast was outstanding. Room clean with all the comforts of home. Guests on Daturday were LOUD till well past midnight. Should have shut them down for other guests

Summary: I love the quietness of the area and the options for a view of the new harbor and sunset of the inn. Great place to grab breakfast and sit on the porch with coffee in the morning.
