Divinessence is located 800m above sea level, in the heart of the Baronnies Provençales national forest, facing the river.
Far from urban interference, wilderness here is synonymous with well-being, serenity and calm. It is a place simply rejuvenating: the ideal setting to reconnect with nature and return to the sources.
Combining all comfort and modernity, our contemporary farmhouse in bio-climatic construction was born from a respectful and ecological concept, created with natural materials such as wood, stone and noble plasters.
We offer for rent 3 living spaces - Simplicity, Elegance and Natural - with terrace and direct access to the natural swimming pool (14X7m) continuously supplied with spring water and filtered by plants.
Each eco-home is very comfortable and includes a large, particularly bright living space facing south, incorporating a functional kitchen, a mezzanine for sleeping and a shower room; all of which can accommodate 4 people. Ideal solo, couple or for a family of 4 (2 adults / 2 children).
Our beds are based on natural resources: the tatami mats are made of rice straw and the design of the futons ("mattress" in Japanese) is made from cotton, latex and coconut fibers. These ingredients offer a natural, original and above all very pleasant coating.
Our mezzanines each include:
- 1 double bed (140 X 200)
- 2 single beds (90 X 200)
Our farm is surrounded by woods, forests and mountain trails, all very pleasant that you can discover at your own pace and as you wish.
For a particularly fun and refreshing atmosphere, recharge your batteries around the river or take advantage of our natural swimming pool.
You can also take an interest in our phyto-purification system, created for greater respect for our environment.

Summary: My wife and I stayed here at La Roche. At first we were taken at little aback with no Wi-Fi or cell service but that quickly disappeared and we began a journey of unwinding, experiencing wonderful sounds and breathing fresh fragrant mountain air. We absolutely love it. We also were lucky enough to be there Wednesday for the market. Thank you Angélique and Paolo. We hope to be back very soon.

Summary: We spent a few days with our 3 kids at Divinessence, and those were the most peaceful, relaxing, rejuvenating days I had for a long time. The place is located in a scenic location, surrounded by hills and pear treas. I loved the fact that the kids had plenty of space to run around, and enjoy the kids games in the garden. The accommodation is first class and the spring water swimming pool is a delight. But the most admiring are the hosts. Angelique and Paolo are so friendly, making you feel like you are part of the family. And their extensive knowledge of healthy living and their ability to apply those principles daily to their place (no chemicals around, water is purified with plants, soap is natural, all cleaning products are natural,...) is truly impressive. Paolo was kind enough to prepare some delicious meals for us using exclusively healthy and organic products. I can't think of a better place for a retreat or for a break to recharge your batteries. I can only recommend this piece of heaven on earth.

Summary: Beautiful setting, ridiculously comfortable bed and wonderful hosts in Angélique and Paolo. Don't miss out on at least a few meals prepared by Paolo and enjoy the peace, sunshine, stars and refreshing pool! 3 nights went too fast.
