Escape to the peaceful northwest corner of the main body of Eagle Mountain Lake in this single family home tucked away beneath the trees on over an acre of land with 225 feet of main body shoreline. The views are sure to please anytime of the day.
Step into and swim the waters of Eagle Mountain Lake from the shoreline. Enjoy recreational boating with your boat or personal watercraft on over 13.5 square miles of water surface. For a more peaceful water outing, bring your kayak or canoe and paddle the easily accessible marshes and the western fork of the Trinity River just to the North of the house. Fishing opportunities abound from the pier, shoreline, and anywhere you float your boat. At the end of the day, tie off your boat on the private pier.
Seeking restful peace and tranquility? Start your day eating breakfast and drinking coffee on the huge covered patio that overlooks the lake, sit in the abundance of shade offered by almost 90 mature oak trees, sit in a hammock and listen to the waves lap the shoreline, or lounge on the deck of the pier and boathouse.
With easy entry to the main floor of the house you will be welcomed by a tall entry foyer that takes you into the main living area with plenty of formal seating for your family at the large hand made dining table built with room for ten, a den complete with sofas and a large screen TV with blu-ray player, and a wall of windows that look out onto the huge patio that overlooks the lake.
Preparing your favorite meal is a treat in the adjacent kitchen with new cabinets and granite countertops and a large work island. With two ovens, a 5 burner induction cooktop, dishwasher, refrigerator/freezer, and plenty of kitchen appliances you will find everything you need at your fingertips. Dine informally at the counter of the island or at the pub height table in the nook which also has windows that overlook the large patio and the lake. Did someone say barbecue? A huge gas fired BBQ awaits the grilling enthusiast whether grilling the perfect cut of meat or your favorite vegetables.
Want to enjoy all of your meals outside, by all means please do so. When the breeze isn't blowing, the 3 ceiling fans help to keep the air moving over the three tables on the covered patio.
End your day in the peaceful surroundings on the quiet part of the lake before retiring to one of the three bedrooms: two on the main floor and one upstairs.
The extra large primary suite on the main floor overlooks the lake and offers plenty of space, a king-sized bed with brand new medium-firm mattress, and a large bathroom with large walk in shower with dual shower heads, a jetted jacuzzi tub, and a double sink vanity.
The second bedroom on the main floor offers a queen sized bed also with a brand new medium-firm mattress and a full bathroom with shower just across the hall.
Upstairs you will find the third bedroom with four twin-beds, and an air hockey table. There is plenty of room to play for your kids and guests. You will also find a complete bathroom with walk-in shower.
In total you will find beds to sleep 8.
We have high speed internet with wi-fi and TV service available.

Please note that the water depth at the end of the pier is about 5 feet in depth when the lake is at full pool level. Please note that water levels can vary year to year and across the summer season based upon what mother nature provides and takes away.
*** May 18, 2024 - we are thankful that the spring rains have replenished Eagle Mountain Lake. As of today, the lake is at full pool. Water depth at the end of our pier is about 5 feet. We reached a low point of 9 feet below full pool in October 2023 as a result of the 2022 and 2023 droughts but have seen a full recovery in water depth. After 2 years of drought, 2024 is a good year for Eagle Mountain Lake!!

Summary: There were 5 boys and the house did an amazing job containing everyone. The bunk room upstairs fit all 5 boys very comfortably and the adults slept great downstairs. The outdoor space was awesome. We did s’mores and spent hours and hours in the lake. There were hundreds of bugs and lizards And we even found a scorpion in the bathtub and a tree frog in the upstairs which were both a big hit. Overall we had a blast

Summary: I was looking for a place to host a remembrance party for my grandmother who lived locally. The host responded to my inquiry right away, with enthusiasm. The kitchen was perfect for preparing food for people. I appreciated being able to take my time getting ready and then cleaning up. The common rooms are open to each other and very spacious, and the seating for guests (inside and outside) is plentiful but spaced out enough so people can separate in to groups and still be together. The pictures are gorgeous, but they don’t do this place justice. The view is nice, the porch is incredible. All the ceiling fans inside and outside were a major selling point, because from here originally and I remember how sticky the summers can be. There’s humidity controls inside the house even. There were lots of bugs, which is exactly what I would expect, but weirdly we didn’t get bit by a single mosquito. I also got to spend a few nights here alone with my partner. It was very romantic and peaceful. I had a great time, I’m super happy, and I’ll stop gushing now. Thank you.

Summary: Overall the home was beautiful inside and out, the cleanliness of the home was amazing. I would advise anyone renting the home that the driveway is very steep and getting a trailer down it is a task, but other than that it was an amazing home to stay at.

Summary: I had my 40 th birthday here. We loved hanging out on the big and beautiful back patio. The house had everything you could possibly need for a weekend stay. We even pulled our boat up to the dock for an easy ride out on Eagle Mountain. The host was extremely accommodating and friendly. Thank you for the best weekend.

Summary: The property was very clean and in excellent condition. The two dining tables allowed plenty of space for family meals and an ongoing jigsaw puzzle. The spacious wrap-around porch proved to be a great spot for enjoying the lake breeze. Evenings were spent fishing from the dock or star gazing from the shoreline. The hosts are quite accommodating and leave you wanting for nothing. Truly a wonderful family experience.
