Summary: I stayed at the Mountain View Cottage (no exaggeration there) for the Olympic Bird Fest in early April. Walking distance of the Festival HQ at Dungeness Nature Center.With a kitchen I had options to eat out or prep my own meals, especially breakfast/lunch for all-day outings. Short drive to a wide selection of restaurants, grocery shopping convenient. Many hiking/ cultural opportunities in the area.

Summary: We absolutely loved our stay here. It’s not often that we find such a gem of a place when we travel with our big dog. He was so happy exploring the fully fenced in yard which is gorgeous and a bird watcher’s paradise. The mountain views are stunning. Veronica was a lovely host and we felt welcome from the moment we booked our stay. The cottage is super cute and Veronica thought of all the details to make the stay as enjoyable as possible. Summary: We had a fantastic stay at this property! Communication with the host was seamless, and everything was spotless upon arrival. The highlight of our trip was definitely the birdwatching—there were so many different feeders, and the host provided great resources to help identify the birds, along with binoculars for a closer look. Watching the sunrise and sunset from the property was absolutely beautiful. It was such a peaceful and memorable experience, and we can’t wait to come back!
