Summary: Took my dad on his last trip near lake Belton. It was all family to be with my dad. The deck is huge with a beautiful sunset & sunrise view.

Summary: House looks just like the pictures...beautiful! It's a bit "interesting" to get to as the last 1/4 mile or so of the road is very rough. I would suggest arriving in an SUV or something with a little more ground clearance as a lower car like a Dodge Challenger would likely bottom out on the rocks, dips, and holes. There's tons of space once at the house. The rooms are clean, nicely decorated, and comfortable. The master bedroom is amazing! I could spend a day or two in there alone as there's a coffee maker, a HUGE shower, and an AMAZING view of the lake! Tons of space on the deck to sip coffee in the morning while you look out over the lake. There's a nice area just in front of the house to lay back with a small fire. Path to the water is a little steep...be prepared for that. Great communication from the host. I can't wait to rent this place again.

Summary: We stayed at this lake front home during the solar eclipse. We booked it last minute when our reservation at another property was canceled on us the day before. Luckily the owner at this property was able to fit us in and it worked out perfectly. The house was spotless and looked even nicer than the photos. The primary bedroom was very nice, the view, the tub and double showers all made for a luxurious stay. All of the rooms were very large and comfortable. The common areas were large and well appointed. The furniture was comfortable, and the kitchen well equipped. The host really went the extra mile to make sure that everything you might need was provided and in large quantity. The location itself was truly magical. The huge deck looked out onto the lake and the view was breathtaking. We wandered the property, my dog enjoyed the space and the access to go for a swim in the lake. Bird watching was a popular and plentiful activity for some in our group. There were some wildflowers on property which made sitting in the lounge chairs a nice treat. There was some games in the basement (foosball, Ping pong) and darts outside by the sitting area. Really can't say enough about how well this host did their part, of all the short term rentals I have stayed at I think this host made us feel more like welcomed guests than any of the others. I highly recommend this property.
