Near plenty of outdoor activities for you to enjoy year round: Ski Butternut is only an 8-minute drive, Dry Hill (a 206 acre-nature preserve) is just a 7-minute ride and Tanglewood is only a quick 25-minute drive.
The Space:
The classic and peaceful vibe of this lovely home, will make you want to stay longer.
This house can sleep eight, here are the bed layouts for easy planning:
Bedroom 1: a private bedroom with one queen bed.
Loft 1: 2 queens, 1 full size bed, and 1 queen size air bed
A spacious living area is located on the first floor, with Samsung TV that can access Netflix and other streaming apps plus access to basic TV channels so you can relax and enjoy the indoors as well.
The full bathroom is tranquil with a double headed shower and a 2-person Jacuzzi tub. There is also a separate half bathroom in the house.
The kitchen is complete with everything you need to make a home cooked meal including gas stove, and dishwasher. It is stocked with all the necessary cooking/serving necessities including: cookware, pots, pans, plates, cups, and silverware.
Hardwood flooring, washer & dryer, hotel-like linens and parking for six round out this Berkshire’s gem!

Summary: The property was the perfect location for our girl-weekend getaway! The loft level was the perfect space for the kids to call their own. The kitchen had everything we needed for making easy meals during our stay. The large dining table made for a great gathering spot to play cards and board games (all provided with the rental).The property was conveniently located to quaint towns with lots to explore (shopping and restaurants) and a stone throw from Ski Butternut where we enjoyed a few hours of snow tubing.

Summary: We enjoyed our stay in this lovely, remote location. The home was welcoming and inviting. The property is large with nice views. It is a bit of a drive to reach stores and restaurants but that is what we like! The upstairs loft is one wide-open space with several beds so you need to be okay with sharing the space.

Summary: 10/10!!!! This VRBO truly felt like a vacation all in its own right. Every aspect from the kind hosts to the beautiful property, cleanliness, decor, and more exceeded our expectations and made our trip a real dream. I could not recommend this VRBO enough and feel so grateful that we had the opportunity to stay. The location of the house itself was extremely convenient to downtown GB, yet provided amazing privacy and felt like a retreat from chaotic life. Our only regret was not being able to stay longer 😅, hopefully we can come back very soon! Thank you so much for the wonderful trip!

Summary: We were in the area as we were going to the weekend concerts at Tanglewood. We have a family member who sings with the Tanglewood Festival Chorus, and it was great to be able to relax with family while visiting.

Summary: The property was lovely in a beautiful New Marlborough location. It would have been perfect for a couple. However, it was not good for three adults. The listing inaccurately states that it has two bathrooms, one with a tub and shower, and one with a shower only. It actually has one and a half bathrooms. The first floor bathroom has a tub and shower, and the upstairs bathroom has neither. The person or persons staying upstairs has to walk downstairs through the dining room to use the only shower in the house. The side porch is lovely for morning coffee. The kitchen is small but adequate for vacationing. The living room and downstairs bedroom were very comfortable. The turntable and albums were an highlight of the visit. Overall, I would definitely recommend it for a couple.

Summary: Wonderful stay in the Berkshires, this house is perfect for gathering with friends and family. We played games around the large dining table, prepared meals together, sat by the fire pit recalling stories and creating new memories. The property was quiet and beautiful. Quick trip to Stockbridge, Great Barrington, Lenox. The open loft was great for adult children but might be a challenge with couples or older adults who might like more privacy. For our group, PERFECT!

Summary: The house was even better than we expected! We loved the huge living room and our family fell in love your turntable and the album collection. The oversized dining table was perfect for dinners and endless board games. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed to enjoy cooking dinner together. We loved the location on a quiet side road that was great for morning walks. The drive to Great Barrington was quick and made it easy to enjoy all the shops and restaurants. We hope to come back again!
