It is nestled in a gorgeous wooded yet sunny lot where you can enjoy breakfasts and barbecues overlooking sweeping lake views. This 1200 square foot picture-perfect cottage offers plentiful nearby outdoor and cultural activities. Enjoy kayaking, great fishing and swimming in the privacy of your own cottage while being water skiing, canoeing, golfing (nearby), hiking, and biking. You can moor small watercraft (kayaks, canoes and rowboats) at the private dock.
Enjoy the panoramic view of Green Lake from inside the cottage. Large sliding doors in the charming master bedroom with vaulted ceilings and attached bathroom. A spacious living area with an open floor plan lets you view spectacular sunrises over the lake. The wrap-around deck and patio are complete with outdoor furniture, a grill and a fire place. Seating at water's edge is perfect for drinks and stargazing. Located on a dirt road with very little traffic.
Features & Amenities: Enjoy cable tv in the charming living room with its high cathedral ceiling. For your enjoyment a variety of games is available for a night of family fun. 3 adult kayaks and 2 kids kayaks available for use as well as a water pad.

The two bedroom cottage features 1 queen bed in master bedroom, and the 2nd bedroom features bunk beds and a queen bed. The many amenities include two lovely remodeled bathrooms with stand up showers, a clean and fully equipped kitchen, included towels and bed linens, a stackable washer/dryer and central air conditioning.
While you will feel like you are miles away from everything, you can enjoy a wonderful performance at the world famous Interlochen Center for the Arts, just two miles away. Popular northern Michigan small towns and Lake Michigan only 20-30 minutes.

Summary: We were repeatedly impressed with the level of detail and care that the owners took to make sure that everything that we might need was there. The cottage was immaculate, and as others have reviewed, the views were beautiful. All the amenities available were beyond expectations. We can't wait to return!

Summary: This property deserves more than 5 stars! The location can't be beat and the furnishings are first class. There's room to spread out, and room to gather. Great blend of traditional lake cottage and contemporary amenities. You won't be disappointed!

Summary: We love this property! Already thinking about dates for next year to book it again. Wonderful and cute cottage with plenty of room. Well maintained and clean. kitchen is fully stocked with nice cooking utensils, cookware and dishes. Beautiful yard and absolutely amazing view of the lake! morning coffee watching the sun come up, enjoying the midday sun relaxing in the wicker furniture by the lake, glass of wine watching The moon rise over the lake, it was all incredible! We know this Lake well and this is one of the best locations and views you can get there. Darcy was a great hostess! She’s very friendly and helpful, the one very minor issue we had was dealt with quickly and effectively. We will be in touch Darcy!!

Summary: This cottage gives a bad first impression but gets better. There is an old house smell upon entering, the floors are uneven and really creaky, the water is sulpher. Yet, there is more good than bad here. The lot is wonderful, all of the furniture is comfortable, the bathrooms are updated, all applicances are newer. Effort has went into the house to make it comfortable and there were a lot of little details to make sure you enjoyed your stay. The outside furniture is in great shape, and the firepit is really nice, with wood included. There are books and games for your enjoyment. All of the linens, furniture, and floors were clean. We all agreed we would stay here again.

Summary: Spent a couple of weeks at the cottage with family for a perfect last-of-summer stay. The weather was great and we got to really enjoy the outdoor space: lounging space, dining and the fire pit. Also took the kayaks out for a spin! Although I’m not usually a morning person (especially not on vacation), the picture perfect sunrises over the lake were worth it! The cottage was perfect, with plenty of room for the family. Definitely hope to go back again in the future!

Summary: My husband and I brought our three children (7, 4, and 1) to this cottage for a little getaway before school started back up. The property is beautiful and we truly enjoyed our stay! The cottage is very clean and cozy. The beds were comfortable (my kids loved the bunk beds) and any daily items that you need such as towels, wash cloths, paper goods, kitchen supplies, etc. were fully stocked. In the morning my husband and I loved to sit on the deck overlooking the lake while drinking coffee. My kids thoroughly enjoyed playing in the small beach area and reading a lot of the books they had available in the living room. The owners left an ample supply of firewood which was great to use at night when we made a bonfire, while relaxing on the comfortable chairs they provided. We traveled to Traverse City and Empire for a quick visit, both with short drives away from the cottage. Definitely recommend!

Summary: Our family has been coming to Interlochen for over four decades. We have grown now to need more than the cottage we had been staying at to fit us. I found this place and it looked great and had great feedback. The look online and the feedback don’t do this place justice. It is even better than the stunning pictures show. A quiet neighborhood, an amazing view of the lake, everything that we love. We spent every morning sitting on the back covered patio area drinking coffee and watching the sunrise or sitting at the table on the back porch having breakfast watching the boaters and kayakers. The cottage has everything you need for your family stay which makes it even easier to relax and enjoy the amazing views of where lake meets forest and cares go away. If you are looking for a place to stay in Interlochen or near Traverse City you won’t find a better and more relaxing place.

Summary: We enjoyed our stay so very much. It was in a perfect location, not too far from Traverse City! The weather was expected for a Fall trip in Michigan, but we still made the most of it. What a great trip and wonderful property.
