Positive: Well situated between Dambulla and Sigiriya. Chamath and his team were sooooo kind and helpful! Always supporting us in all activities, with good recommendations, etc…
Negative: The property itself needs a good refresh… the team is aware and promised to work on it! Though this was well compensated by their kindness!

Positive: We had a wonderful stay! Chamath and Viraj were incredibly kind and attentive, always making sure we had everything we needed. The room was clean and comfortable, with amazing views over the rice fields – perfect for sunset. The pool was clean and refreshing, and the area is full of life: we saw monkeys, peacocks, lizards… Breakfast was also very generous. Highly recommended!

Positive: The room was one of the best in Sri Lanka. Great shower, air-conditioning and a fan. Also a small fridge to keep our drinks cool. The pool is surrounded by peacocks and monkeys. The breakfast on our last day was magic. It's a little bit away from the main village but it is a great place to base yourself in Sigiriya. Forgot to mention that the bed was so comfortable!
Negative: The grounds need a bit of work, but it's getting done slowly. Soon it will be a great resort.
Summary: Relax amongst the Peacocks and Monkeys.

Positive: Staff was excellent and very helpful, but the property is older than expected and needs some cleanup on the grounds and a refresh of the outlets and AC units. Internet could be greatly improved and the drive into the area with the rooms gave poor first impressions. Some time and investment will make this a lot better. Overall a good stay but expensive for the area given you're paying a premium compared to some other properties that can offer similar rooms closer to Sigiriya.

Positive: Great place to stay! Located in peaceful surroundings in the middle of beautiful paddy fields, the Peacock Eco Resort has a lovely garden swimming pool where peacocks roam around. The rooms are spacious, nicely decorated and very comfortable, with en suite bathroom and balcony. The staff at the property are friendly and very helpful for planning any trips or activities. The food is also very good, especially breakfast which is enormous! Totally recommend staying here, enjoy!

Positive: Very nice hotel under new management (at the entry the old name is still shown). Excellent service, the staff goes out of their way to make you feel comfortable. Very quiet in beautiful surroundings and conveniently located between dambulla and sigiriya Spacious room with comfy thick matrass, modern clean bathroom with hot water with good pressure. It was one of the only places in Sri Lanka where we could shower without the whole bathroom, including the toilet, being wet afterwards. Individual terrace with table and chairs where you can enjoy the beautiful view over the rice fields and maybe even see an elephant passing by. Big and clean swimming pool. Excellent food in the restaurant and the breakfast is plentiful and delicious with omelette, sausages, toast, jam, several types of cookies and fruits, tea, coffee and fresh juice.
Negative: If there are still minor issues the manager is very eager to hear them and will go a long way to solve them.

Positive: The pool is great with the paddyfield view . they have very clean rooms with a breathtaking view of the nature . allso the breakfast is very delicious and the staff is very friendly and helpful . if you need to arrange a safari the will help you . Highly recommended
