Positive: Quite simply,everything went well!100% of the staff were an important part of a tight knit and well run machine.That machine was a very personable,competent and caring team;nothing seem to faze any single member.Very impressed by its members skills in multi tasking! All food served was cooked and presented in a very imaginative format,far from the "everyday" fare on offer in most establishments. We were very happy that we chose the Seckle room positioned in the garden area.Everything had been well thought out in terms of needs for sleeping,showering etc,even including the provision of a supply of oat milk and Pear Tree own label coffee sachets. Any minor query re bathroom workings (we are technophobes) was dealt with immediately. Caring and professional in all aspects.

Positive: The location, the charming garden and outdoor dining area of the Inn, the food was succulent, the decor and style of the room and the restaurant. And the Staff was very friendly and welcoming.
Negative: I was a bit too hot in our room because under the roof, though there was a fan but it was a bit loud.

Positive: Superb rural setting amongst mature fruit trees and convenient for lots of nearby visitor attractions. The food was excellent and the staff were great. We will definitely be back!
Negative: Although our room was very well equipped and laid out, the bathroom was a bit on the compact side, especially the access to the loo!

Positive: Staff were friendly and welcoming without exception. The Inn is gorgeous and homely and the room was spacious whilst still being cosey with an amazing, super-comfortable bed.
Negative: The drinks prices were high and the food was pricey, however, the quality of the main course and dessert was well worth the money as both were delicious.
Summary: The Pear Tree Inn is an amazing find and I couldn't fault it - highly recommended and will return.

Positive: Lovely location, proper chocolate box looking pub,
Negative: Having to wait for our room, problem with the shower, plumber was due between 12-5pm, finally arrived but couldnโ€™t fix the problem, waited over 3hrs before finally getting into our room at 6:30pm, no time for us to relax, have a shower etc as booked our meal in restaurant for 7:15pm, food was pricey for what we had, penne pasta with gammon in a mustard sauce ยฃ22 ๐Ÿคฌand the restaurant was quite cold, the log fires had been left to run down. So not a nice cosy atmosphere
Summary: It was a belated valentine date night with a stay over, left us feeling disappointed with the stay
